My dad used to drive one back in the 70s and early 80s. Gasoline tanker. Had a 6v71 Detroit. Sounded good but was super loud. I was able to ride a couple of times when I was young. I only wish I had pictures. Brought back a lot of memories. Thanks
None of the first Alternate Fleetstars (Fleetstar A) had "Diesel" emblem, but one could identify the gassers and diesels by the model number: The 1910A, 2010A and 2110A were for gassers whereas 1950A, 2050A and 2150A were for diesels. The last Fleetstars were the 2070A which were diesel.

I worked for an International dealer as a truck mechanic in 1974 I worked on a lot of Fleet Stars they were great trucks and very popular.
