    So good please don't stop making videos. Regardless of what topic it is. You are a naturally born teacher.

    Very very informative and very simple English terms are used. Not some software engineer talk, down to very basic terms to complex concepts. Very good voice and talking speed. Transcript very accurate with what he was saying. U got me as a subscribers 4sure.

    Fair bit to remember, but CAN Bus is not as scary as I once thought. Thanks for the explanation. Very well presented.

    It would be nice to have a video on what are the required components needed to setup a CAN network. From physical connection to configuring software and see simple indication for all the components. Thank you

    Hi George thanks for the videos!
    Do you plan on making more canbus videos in the future?

    Great video, My only question is why would you need RPM, gear and other non cooling sensors to read into the PDM ?

    • @hardwireelectronics3835
      @hardwireelectronics3835  Před rokem +5

      Thank you Chris! For RPM, there are a number of uses - one example is locking out the starter motor output above a certain RPM so that you cant accidentally trigger it when the engine is running. For the gear position, one example that comes to mind is to turn your reversing light on when in reverse gear. We have seen a lot of configurations over the years, and its always interesting to see how people utilise the extra data gathered from the CAN bus in their PDM config.

      @@hardwireelectronics3835 Thanks for the explanation this makes sense. I'm going to be using one of your PDM's with a Holley ECU when I wire my 1968 Jeep Gladiator.

    how lame is the software that makes the user convert the hex number to decimal instead of allowing hex input. also, why not allow copy paste. total disrespect to user
