Lasagna Recipe
Put oil in a pot
1 large onion chopped
Add ginger and garlic - 3 teaspoons of garlic.
Add 1kg of mince - don’t move it too much just enough so it settles for 5 minutes
then you can stir it
add 1teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of black pepper
1 teaspoon of mixed italian herbs
freshly chopped parsley or basil
let it brown at the bottom then stir
cook for 10 min
add three large blended tomatoes or a canned tomato
250 grams tomato purée
50 grams tomato paste
3 heaped tablespoons of sugar
stir
Allow it to cook and concentrate - only add water in the next 5 min
heat on medium to high
taste sauce add seasoning etc if needed
taste daaaaa foooooddddd

I make my lasagne quite different. I boil my lasagne sheets first the put a layer at the bottom of the tray, white sauce and then mince. And repeat until I’m out of mince.
So do I.

Another thing you can do.. Blanche your tomatoes. And blitz them. Reduce your sauce. Then let it intensify. Great for the sauce.
