Aside from Candace’s vibrant personality my favorite part of this video is the photo of grandma. At first glance it resembles a painting. It’s so peaceful and beautifully captured.🙏🏾😍

Gorgeous home! And yes, incredible space planning. I love the kitchen in the middle and all the room divider concepts. In a space like that, you definitely need "zones." The mirrors and the ambient lighting as well as lots of soft curves really help break up the long rectangle. Candace is so bright & engaging and I love Kelly's tours. I'm in an 800 sq ft essentially "open plan" studio in Puerto Vallarta, MX with essentially only 1 main set of divider walls that wrap around the shower in the center. And I have 3 good size dogs!! Fortunately we are attached to a walled courtyard that doubles the usable space but the open plan is actually proving to be more usable than a 944 sq ft bungalow I had before b/c the bedrooms were disproportionately large compared to the social space & the kitchen was a tucked away galley. If you got more than 2 people in there you could feel the heat, lol! The new place has huge windows & ceilings over 9 feet which definitely helps! I'm surprised by how social and comfortable it has been & how people just really gravitate & convene there. It's taking me back to an earlier days of apartment living & pushing me to be more creative as well as more selective. Just a wonderful jewel box! I'll definitely be re-visiting this tour as we evolve in the space!
Ughhh I'm obsessed with this series! I've watched this one a few times, each a different reason. Visual impact top tier! Love all the sentiments shared about the curated pieces and the strong message of supporting black bussinesses. Until I secure the loft apartment of my dreams I must live out the coveted sleeping quarters of my childhood. I love how the loft bed doesn't take up too much visual real estate and also provides a cozy reading nook. Would you mind sharing the loft bed info?

I feel like Candace's space was very well thought out. I love the stories behind the furniture pieces, art and accessories. She has such a dope personality! Kellie is absolutely made for TV as a host! It comes so natural it's like we're having a conversation with friends!

This is so on time my Sista' cause' I've been in my studio for 3 months and am still deciding on the complete layout. The main takeaway is showcasing my mom's curling iron from the 60's on the kitchen (area) wall for the same reason she said 💖✨. Enjoyed immensely & looking forward to the follow-up.👏🏿👏🏿✨
