I think its an awesome gadget for beginners
Quick note: i dont think you can get your knife back after triggering a knife escape. So i dont think its worth going for. It would be unfair to get more value out of your knife after using your knife escape. (altho im not completely sure. I know i have 1.4k hours on the game, but i legit only use bow LOL)
You can get it back after a hit throw not sure about an escape tho

Hey! can you do a tutorial on how to use the Heffner 17 special correctly or how to get a good advantage of it?
I feel like there isn't too much to say about this weapon to make it a whole video. For high recoil high damage slow fire weapons (guns like the Heffner 17 or the mosin nagant), I just reccomend taking your time with each shot and fully letting the recoil reset before taking another shot. Unless the vampire is right up to your face.
I prefer the acog scope, but it's up to personal preference. I feel the scopes more than acog make it harder to use close range, but less than that also makes it harder to use at long ranges.
I've got a video about every gun in the game including the Heffner 17 so you could watch that if you want my opinions on it.
