After a few attempts, I have managed to make it work but the trunking part didn't show what it showed for you. When I gave the command to view the interface of the trunked gigaEthernet the list was blank and I could still see vlan brief I could still see Gig0/1 even though I can see it still as tunk on the configuration on the switch. Did I do something wrong? Did I not use the right switch and router? If you can help me understand what I did wrong that would be a big help.

I think I configured the exact same way but the pings are unsuccessful . the prob;em occures when the packets travels to switch, the switch cannot forward them. Can anybady help me?
