Usually using shinies means using worse iv’s so that’s less damage
@@samitobito I disagree. I have a ton of shinies that I kept from before GBL existed and a decent amount have great pvp ivs. I kept them because they were shiny not knowing their ivs would be useful down the road.
My shiny mew 2 was a 14/13/14
@@judgemorrisHe’s right though, so there is nothing to disagree with. It is already rare to get a good IV pokemon, and then for that pokemon to be shiny its stupid rare. Almost all of my shinies as well as many others are 0stars

Why not fury cutter for galar farfetched! Rock smash is one of the worst fast moves in the game

I ran into this team earlier today. Beat it with Swamp, Ferro and Regi with the best alignment.

OMG you guys, when ZyoniK says, "Use a shadow Mawile if you have it," he's NOT joking around!!! I had a spare shadow Mawile with 15 attack (15-12-11) laying around, that I only had enough candy to power up to 1400cp. Opponent leads Ferrothorn, swaps in an Escavalier, has a Lucario in the back. Power-Up Punch + Fire Fang Mawile swept their entire team with only using one shield! xD absolutely absurd!!

How do y’all play GBL right now, I can’t even get through one battle smoothly. My opponents fast move are consistent while mine are always not, which give my opponent advantage
Overall the state of GBL are much worst than before even tho the interlude season is behind us. This issue has been going on for god knows when

Man I was under 200 points from where I started and I started to see this team everywhere!! I came back 150 points by winning vs this team.
I was using peliper lucario and magcargo. The last one was in charge in beating ludi 😄
It's so discouraging the amount of dust required to do well in GBL...
Don't worry, I've been playing casually for 2 years and I have 150 mons for gbl, including xls 👍 You can have a very good roaster if you make great spending choises and some regular playing
@@nathanbegel4505 thing is, PvP is a way to e joy the game without going out to play, winter in Canada sucks, full-time job, baby on the way, I can barely come up with 10k dust a day now. I get that lots of others have lots of free time to spend on the game, but it's too much, especially for the special cups too, you almost always have to invest in a new mon and hope the meta doesn't shift against it after wards or else you can't come up with counters to your counter. I'm just ranting cuz my life can't allow for the play time the game asks for

@@padaily654 yes dude. It’s tough to fight with water/flying type like Gyra and Pelip but Melmetal can cover with thunder shock and Rock slide.

No wonder i saw so many people were using this team today. So I use Lanturn, Lucario, ane Escavalier to counter this team. If they SS to either Ludicolo or sharpedo, I just swarp to my Escavlier. Without the lag, my team can win most of time.

OK, im finally done with PvP. Its so sad, I dont even know how people get above 2000 points. Its ridiculous. I have a win rate of about 55%, but I never get streaks to climb ranks. No Matter how good my team is (spicy, Common, meta etc.) I might get 4 or 5 wins in one set, and in the next one I would lose like 3 or 4.
If you change your team alot you'll get more losses(my opinion). I'm running Laturn Wiscash and Ferro and climbing just fine.
Same. I've built a lot of mons for pvp, but just can barely reach ace rank. There's just a skill there that I don't have despite using the same meta teams others use to climb ranks. I think some of us just don't have the skill it takes and have to accept it.

Why are Steel Pokémon being featured in the Fossil Cup? Not a Single Fossil Pokémon in the Entire Franchise is a Steel Type.
So whoever made the Final Decision, I hope they do better next time because GBL right now absolutely sucks. Over 80% of my Sets were ruined yesterday because of numerous technical reasons. I also don’t understand how my Opponents get more Energy than what is being displayed on my screen because it just looks like they are cheating 🤷
On top of that, I am absolutely tired of Open Master League. I do not have a single Legendary Powered up to 50, and it’s really rude when opponents pull out 3 Legendary Pokémon all at level 50. Niantic needs to limit Trainers to 1 Legendary/Mythical Pokémon if they’re not going to bring back Master Premier League so that we actually have a chance of winning instead of putting up with this nonsense for over a week.
