Join us today on the second part of our Fatherhood episode. The Dads delve into fatherhood duties and how their lives transformed after having children...who knew that they faced so much? It was a refreshing, honest and vulnerable conversation that we had - thank you so much Dads. Racheal had the most fun filming with you.
All in all, we realise that fatherhood, just like motherhood, has NO manual. And we are blessed to have this platform to help us navigate parenting in general.

From this dad's edition, one thing clearly stood out for me - we cannot use the excuse of not growing up around dads to be poor dads
Very true. We can make a choice to be better parents even if we did not grow up in good/perfect families!

Thks for engaging the dads into parenthood life....they play a big role in their kids development.
I say, socially interact with ur kids nomatter what. E.g watching t.v together, eating together, playing together, greet them first, talk to them, read books to them, bake or cook together, go with them to the market to shop food e.t.c coz these daily life things calm kids down and build them with self security and love.....avoid purnishing them by beating or verbal insult or yelling whenever they do smthg wrong coz they will get scared and avoid u instead. It bringa them closer to u and they will obey u. Talk to them instead and give them credits and a treat when they re-correct themselves. Patience with kids is very important.☔

Very educative,,i like the expressions of early childhood growth phases,,i have deeply understood the effects of socialization in childhood journeys through enough preparation of being a mother or father,,especially on the first born child.

I do agree with all dads out there, it is even more challenging when you are in long distance relationship. I am grateful for the counselling lessons before marriage , they taught patience and endurance.
