Chaudhary is one of those people that is so expressive that when he enjoys something words are not necessary you can see it in his face. 😋
All he has to say is "hi, hi, hi" and you know he's in his happy place.
I love how all the rest dissect it and comment on different parts and he gets like 60% of the way thru before he says a word haha

I’ve binged watched these videos for the past week and I can count on one hand how many times he didn’t enjoy a dessert 😭😭😭. He has the ultimate sweet tooth.
You know it must be amazing if Chaudhary immediately began expressing pleasure when he first tasted it. I've only seen him react that quickly over quality chocolates.

Tahir is absolutely right, they should have given them some tea with the cream puffs! I love how GSK always draws parallels with foods he ate as a kid.
When will they give them something to DRINK with these foods?! I have constantly commented. Maybe more of us should ask them to at least give them water or tea with the food. 🙏🏼

They are called cream puffs, but they're not made with puff pastry. They're made with choux pastry, which is magical and delicious and full of butter and eggs. Puff pastry is a layered dough, like croissant dough, that is cut and shaped before baking, commonly used to make danishes. Good puff pastry is made with butter. Common puff pastry is made with shortening and tends to be greasy.
I'll make cream puff pastry but having made puff pastry once, I buy a good brand if I make something that needs it like apple strudel and I've made the filo pastry ONCE, I now buy it. Both take hours of work to do it from scratch.

@@littledikkins2253 home made puff pastry is a huge effort but definitely worth it. I only use home made. Only make it once a year for Ramadaan, then use that to make chicken n steak pies. Hmmmmm yummmmy.
@@rianamohamed300 I'm an older widow and since my husband died, it simply hasn't been worth the effort. I couldn't have kids and I'm the last of my known family so no big holiday celebrations. But I do have wonderful memories.

My Mother made the BEST Cream Puffs, she made the puffs from scratch and filled them with homemade Mouselline Cream (kind of a heavy vanilla pudding) and dusted them with Confectioner's Sugar.

Cream puffs are my dads absolute favorite dessert. I’m going to New York City in October and I’m gonna find an elite bakery where I can get a nice puff pastry in these honor. Excellent content and I’m liking and sharing now! 👍👍👍

@@otda3675 The first two bakeries I listed are both pretty close to the Chelsea area. Dominique Ansel is very classic fancy French bakery. Beard Papa is more quirky with more flavors available.

this recipe is the first I learned to make in grade 7 (12 years) It is simple and the size of the pastry can be changed to small bite size puffs. Fillings may be savory or sweet. Simple ingredients as well...but it needs an oven. Choux pastry is different than "puff pastry" which is more laborious. This pastry is dry and should be glazed or powdered with sugar to add flavor if used as a dessert. I fill mine with Bavarian creme.

The best dessert I ever had was in Scotland on the Edinburgh Castle grounds. There was a small tea and treats shop and they served a puff pastry filled with clotted cream. It was fabulous. 30 years later and I still dream of that delicious pastry. I hope their dessert was just as good as mine was.

Cream puffs are a big deal in Wisconsin, USA. A special treat at many festivals and fairs in Wisconsin. The most common is the way you had them but they can have chocolate cream or Bavarian cream too. The tops are usually dusted with powdered sugar. I think I asked for you to be able to try one once. Glad you liked them .

We make cream puffs slightly different in that we use a pudding type cream filling (chocolate, vanilla, banana, etc) in the pastry. Also yummy!

He's right the pastry is a bit bland but the cream is what makes it pop. I use a Bavarian cream when I make mine and there's always a little left over that you can eat with a spoon.

Those are Choux pastry, which is flour and butter mixed together in a pan over heat until they form a dough. Left to cool put in a piping bag and then piped balls of it on a baking sheet then baked in the oven until they rise. Then double cream is whisked until thick and piped into the middle of the pastry. Something like this!
It's butter cream, not real cream. I agree re the choux pastry. Because they are called "cream puffs", they assume the pastry is puff pastry.
@@xymonau2468 Yes I agree, I think the cream bit though is not right. Always had them with fresh cream filling and a coating of chocolate on the top. A bit like an eclair but we call them Elephant's feet.

The pastry is puffed up meaning it expanded. The cream is not the puff. It is better when filled with custard that is made with cream, vanilla, salt, egg yolks and sugar.
I like to think they get the "left overs" to take home and enjoy in peace without a camera there. :)

Chaundry has a sweet tooth. I can make delicious puff pastry..I fill mine with a vanilla custard and top them with a chocolate sauce. I don't make them often because I over indulge..I'm a piggie with them..they make you wanna dance. I'm glad they enjoyed.
The biggest attraction at the Wisconsin State Fair are the Cream Puffs! Tops are dusted with powdered sugar though. State Fair starts in just days and now I can't wait for that delectable Wisconsin whipped cream in a flaky pastry. Mmm Mmm!!! My mouth is watering already. So glad our friends got to try this delectable treat!
Puff pastry is made of common bleached white flour from wheat, blended & cooked together on a stove top. When it gets stiff from that, 1 raw egg at a time is beaten into it. It takes several eggs like that while it's still hot to get softened enough to make a ball shape. Then that's baked in an oven until it's a bit dried out like a stiff bread. While it was baking, it made itself a hollow center. We slice them in two & fill the hole up with beaten heavy cream, a tiny bit of vanilla flavor with sugar beaten into the cream. We stop beating the cream before it turns to butter but has hundreds of mini pieces of air beaten into it so it's still very soft.
Ladies, if a man reacts to you with the same joy and excitement that Mr. Chaudhary reacts to sugar, grab him and never let him go.
I was hoping they'd eat creme puffs just watch Chaudhary's face when he took his first bite, he exceeded my expectations, that look of pure bliss said it all.

Yes, it's choux pastry and not puff pastry.
When we were kids, we would often get cream horns, which were very similar, but they were in the shape of a horn and the whip cream filled up the horn to the top. The pastry might have also had granulated sugar sprinkled on it.
A while ago mr. Gull Sher said that his dream was to own a 125cc motorbike. Did he ever get one, and if not, is there any way to contribute towards one for him or just buy one outright? (I have no idea how much one would cost in Pakistan)

I'm glad they enjoyed it...kind of funny about them saying the pastry part was sweet. I recently made cream puffs from scratch and not all recipes call for sugar and if they do it's like a teaspoon. The filling is definitely sugary. I think that together you get to contrast the sweetness and texture.
I'm not sure if there's already a video for it but I would love to see them getting to try chocolate lava cake, I can only imagine how amazed Chaudhary especially would be

The pastries are so easy to make, 1 cup of water in sauce pot with butter 30/40 grams pinch of salt Bring to boil Turn of heat, add cup of strong bread flour and mix until all the flour is gone and one lump add 2 big eggs blend together then whisk Until light And bake
