When I bought the game as a kid, I didn't have a memory card for the PlayStation 2. I always played up to Super Saiyajin and unlocked it. Unfortunately, I had to turn off the ps2. That's how it went for months. At some point I bought myself a memory card.
From then on I loved the game! None of my friends could take it against me and defeat me in battle. The game had a fantastic story and it was fun to play.

Ahahah same man i never even got to reach that part, i always managed to reach only at bardock and that's it cause after i had to stop it and turn off the ps2....ya' know the parents and all that shit....but wait you said your friends couldn't take it against you and defeated you in battle? By the way you're talking i thought you were stronger than them at the game

Seeing how Spike did cutscenes for the old BT games makes me so HAPPY that Sparking Zero story mode is cinematic.The new story mode is what these developers can do with more than 1 year Bandai.

@@etam8099 Not true, the gameplay was indeed better in BT3 and the character roster was insane!!! It literally had everyone, but if we're talking from a Story Mode standpoint then BT2 blows BT3 outta the water

All of these “what if” and non canon sagas they added to the story mode were soooo cool. They made the game unique and not just another retread of the same canon arcs every game covers
Pretty good cutscene vid of this classic DBZ game. Makes me wonder if you can make a cutscene vid of the remaining two DBZ BT games too somehow since I haven't seen anyone make such cutscene vids of 1 & 3 at all.

The cutscenes are pretty trash, they literally just stand around, not its strongest selling point.
for a wii/ps2 game that was released in 2006, not bad. Along with all of the content in the game and the good battle system.

@@BakoraOW Yeah, was about to say, but the other guy mentioned it. The game that came out four years earlier had fully animated cutscenes.
That's why you listen to it in background. Best music in series and 5 hours.
@bakora5909 Budokai 1 came out 4 years prior to this on PS2 and the cutscenes in it are a thousand times better lol
I always did the fact that the tenkaichi games use the dialogue from the original Japanese script
