I play this for marching band this year, and I'm struggling to play my part, but I'm getting it down, part by part, and can almost play all the way through, and I love it

I was in the pit playing all the lovely percussion instruments. 8th grade. They let the 8th graders in the marching band at my school. 1A.
Funny story, at competition, the field that we all had to play on had an extremely long stairway and ramp going down. I lost control of the wagon and had to scramble to put everything back on the wagon and make sure everything was ok.... Good times lmao. I was so scared the castanets broke but they luckily didn't lmao.

I'm using this for my drum major audition the issue is I have to fight against seniority bc I'm a sophomore trying out so there are people with seniority but so far I think I'll make it

@thespcorrea my tryouts were months ago we all saw eachothers routines and I did the best bc I practiced the most but the senior the my director like got it, and she can't Even conduct half time, I'll be trying out again this year but I'll more than likely be playing snare

@@OhJayden. yes, and that person didn't receive any awards bc they couldn't conduct well at all
@@B1PPL3B0P that sucks, once you get out of highschool seniority isnt a thing, in my college marching band solos are open to anyone and is adamant that the person who plays the solo is the person who plays it the best. but also as a director you are shooting you and your entire band in the foot by choosing someone who cant conduct in time just because seniority.
Ah. Woulda loved to play this. I generally don't like being the centre of attention since I'm not a great tuba player but I think I would be able to play this. Would be fun to be the melody-ish for once.

Yeah, the run was hella annoying for my friends who play clarinet, but with enough practice you should be able to get, if you have someone to help, it should speed up the process

I can see why they would hate clarinet or woodwind part, and me being a Mello player some of my parts are kinda hard but I can do it, it's not very hard
