- I built a working LEGO water park rapids ride using LEGO and LEGO Technic!
Sitting alongside rollercoasters and other amusement attractions, river rapid rides are a huge amount of fun!
The ride utilises 8 large power functions motors and achieves a measured water output of 1800 litres per hour via its 2 centrifugal pumps!
The ride features a course length of 2.6m from drop-in to lift hill with 2 ride vehicles.

With that pump, you definitely need a longer version of that ride! 🙂
Absolutely
semi agreed, its the right length to add in 1 more boat becouse another can drop when the first is half way through, just have to get the lift timing.
@@DaRip74definitely needs another boat.
And a seal so water doesn’t leak!
Not like the animal lol
Brilliant, looks like so much fun!
Second
dang youve summoned he
omg
Hey, thanks for the comment! Have watched some great content over on your channel as well!!
@@BuilditwithBricksyo ur channel is totally underrated
Lego Water Rides have always been such a cool concept to me and you just made a perfect one, awesome!
Ah thanks for the comment! It was quite a tricky build this one!!!
@@BuilditwithBricks make it bigger
I'm blown away by the flow rate of those pumps. 🤯
Absolutely! The flow rate of those pumps is truly impressive. It's fascinating to see how efficiently they can deliver water or other substances to combat the fire 😀

I'm 31 years old, but this video amazes me like I were 10 😊
The fact that they always ended up facing backwards in the end, made me chuckle
i suspect it has to do with the center of gravity being slightly toward the back due to the riders
So many questions running through my mind as you were building it, first was "legos are not water tight how are you..." no problem doesn't matter. Then "maybe a round ride vehicle similar to other rapid rides where there is no front so you don't get stuck" again doesn't matter, no problem. So yeah, this was super awesome. My ONLY worry would be my expensive motors and battery packs getting wet as water wicks it's way up those shafts some how.
Iirc, motors are naturally water resistant, and only the battery box is an issue
@@dsihacker01 Naturally water resistant? Maybe if it's distilled, non conductive water...
not water resistant, the contacts corrode and while powered they short itself what would cause battery to lose to much energy quickly.@@dsihacker01
I love the Idea to build everything from Lego but in the case of Water pumps it might be just a good Idea to use an aquarium Waterpump. Lifetime price and especially safety might be better in that case.
@@dsihacker01Only if it's distilled water, normal tapwater will just corrode the entire motor. Even with distilled water, it will clean out grease/lubrication from the bearings which will seize up the motor.
What a very clever impeller! I agree with others. It does need to be longer and maybe a few more rocks and bumps in the rapids. Great idea and implementation.
On behalf of 8 year old me, thank you very much. All of my experiments with lego boats in water failed miserably and I came to the conclusion that unless I wanted to seal them, I was out of luck.
This is such a clever way to overcome the problems of the material; any lost water returns to the reservoir and the flow rate of the pump overcomes the losses.
My pleasure!
Very cool indeed!
This is really darn cool but words cannot describe the amount of anxiety I feel seeing electrical components this close to water only being seperated by poorly isolating Lego bricks.
It’s only batteries. Can’t even get a shock let alone hurt.
@@Kharnellius That's not what I'm worried about, Lego is damn expensive is what I'm worried about!
@@furgel7717 Its not your LEGO. Not sure why you would be worried at all. Plenty of other stuff in the world that you can worry about.
Right!
Just use flex glue
You made my childhood dream come true
Can we all just appreciate the amount of effort put into making this? :)
Thanks! It's one of my favourite theme park ride types. I had always wanted to re-create it in LEGO and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Looks amazing
I don't know why but I smiled the whole time. This was such a fun project to watch. Let's take a ride!
EDIT: I can imagine this being even cooler in the dark with lots of running led's, turns, switches and stuff... Endless fun
And forest!
Thats a cool Project.
This is soooooo relaxing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really cool.
Underrated channel!
2 of the most satisfying things combined, lego and water flow
this is so amazing
Super cool! Wat great fun to watch. 😎
Incredible😮
This is very neat! I wonder if you could get even more efficiency out of it by adding some curves to the pumps, so that the walls of the impeller are closer to the blades, and guiding the output so that it doesn’t slam directly into a right angle.
When you've been playing in the bath so long the waters gone cold hours ago and you're developing hypothermia.
Great Job !!!
Amazing!
I love it!
楽しい✨
水が気持ち良さそうですし、のぼるのに時間がかかりつっかからずにスムーズで良き🎵
何度も見ていられる❤️
I like your water ride.
Nice idea👌👌👌. Batman have preety fun 😂😂😂
Batman was drifting like crazy
This is sick!!!
that second to last turn will give people whiplash :P
Das ist der reinste Wahnsinn 😊😊
That looks so fun!!
Lego ride with water?
Never thought that could be possible!
Awesome piece of art! 😮😮😮
Thanks for the comment! Appreciate it!
@@BuilditwithBricks bad
this brought me some joy. thank you for this video. :)
ディズニーみたいでいいね🥳🎉
I loved this
Reminds of those indoor amusement rides
got that lazy river that my moms always in
That's sick
what a masterpiece!! :)
Really neat how you can control the speed of the boats just by making the track wider or narrower.
The stop motion building is so cool!
Thanks!
@@BuilditwithBricks :D
Learning bricks before redstone 💯💯💯
very kool though id probably use like the yellow raft pieces that actually float for the ride boats
Result is so satisfying.
This is awesome :)
super cool!
I saw something I wanted to make when I was young. It was great!
Super cool.
I wish I had one of those 😂
Batman was having a good old time. Good for him!
Очень круто❤❤❤
awesome is all i can say
Awesome!! Surely would buy this if this was for sale
Impressive
This is over the top1 awsome keep up the good work, man
That’s sick!
Very cute 😊
Love the lego water ride, it's genius that's what it is. I hope Batman and Robin didn't get too over excited from their jaunt round LoL
Ngl, I could just have this on and stare at it all day
Hope you've built more like these, soothing to watch.
Make the rapids bigger! 🤪
One must imagine the Lego water riders happy
Very cool! The possibilities with Lego are endless.
super cool
Fantastic ❤😊
"Water Ride 1 is too intense for me."
Awesome build
You make me remember my lego dam few years ago and now i want to make it again😂
This is great.
11/10 i would ride that thing
Now this is like every child’s lego dream
Nice work I wish more people could see this so I’ll share it
Very impressed with the amount of water that simple pump is moving!!!
Awesome!
Incredible build. So cute and fun
Glad you like it!
I wish I could be a miniature lego person to ride on this ride.
this is so sick
Brilliant. If boats were circular it would be a better story as direction is not an issue and boat turns look natural.
To think Batman looks like he's having so much fun in that
This is Very Good!
Look at those sick drifts
A true water ride. Leaks and all. Bravo!
Oh it’s awesome! Patent it If you can. It looks like the Bugatti logo in the gorgeous Aqua/Sierra blue.
This reminds me of the time when I tried to make a pool out of Lego as a child and how disappointed u was when I couldn't get it water tight
you are geneious!
i was just expecting it to leak everywhere but it worked!
Wow, this was mesmerizing to watch. ❤
Very cool!
This is cool!
Lego needs to make this a set!
Awww, three rafts for extra chaos though!
So cool, i see room for a third boat if the rampt timing is increaded. but ya sweet
I like how one rider starts and finishes while the other is still getting pulled up.
Ive seen far too many lego builds on youtube, this was by a wide margin my favorite to watch.
clicked really thinking you glued all of them. awesome
I found that a 2 stud thick wall was much more waterproof than 1 but increasing beyond 2 gave diminished returns and needed a lot more bricks!!
the slowmo pump sounds remind me of aphex twin.
One of the most creative Ideas, I have seen in a while
