A Hello at the end to Gerry Woodage who was the UK club administrator ( Passed away a few years ago AFAIK ) and an incorrect listing at the end as I didn't know who the others playing were or the song titles. See the boxed sets on the Pool Table. They gave me a whole set ..

I love that band you now they were all good can't get enough of them. On other band would. Davey Alan an the arrows but that it I have about 25 L P S of them thay would come out with a new one about ones a mouth an I got it the best

Thanks so much for posting the whole thing, Clive! This is a great document from Don Wilson's house in Sherman Oaks California. He sold that house a good 20 years ago to one of the child actors on the "Home Improvement" TV show. That's the late great Dave Carr (from The Fortunes) playing keyboards and Bob Spalding playing the 2nd guitar (he sneaks in a 7 min 30 seconds). Being 1993 they would have been rehearsing for the "Play Mega Hits" album for Japan. The first song is called "Bridge". I'm not sure what the second song is or if it made it the Mega Hits album or a later album. I see all the Japanese Ventures box sets you were telling me about on the pool table - very cool! I see the hello to Gerry Woodage you mention. Were you filming this on behalf of the U.K. Ventures Resurgence Club?
No , I contacted Gerry as I was working in the Film business back in the 90's, and our office was in Sherman Oaks on Ventura Blvd. Gerry set it up for me to go to Dons house and spend the morning with them . I was working on a movie ( cant remember which ....) I had all the albums here int he UK as I had a cousin in NY who would send them over to me. All gone now but I have the CD copies.
NO I filmed it for my own fun ! Sorry to say I am not impressed with the latest version of the band..

Interesting to see The Ventures in a private home. Their music sounds quite monotonous compared with their earliest albums, though.
They were practicing for the upcoming japan tour.
