We cycle on our e-bikes the six miles on the excellent cycle tracks on the CV905 to Ciudad Quesada. We go to Quesada Fish and Chips, Yvonne orders Haddock and Mike orders Cod.

A few years ago, a couple who had had a few too many in Porterhouse, took the same short cut as you guys.
We were watching, then the wife disappeared down the slope at the concrete wall. About 6 feet drop.Hubby tried to help, he also disappeared. I waited a few minutes. No sign of them. Went to help, both all cuts and bruises 😅😅

We used to love going to Quesada Fish and Chips 2 when they were in Villamartin Plaza. WE took some French friends and they were hooked on fish and chips especially mushy peas. I managed to teach them how to make a chip butty ! We were so disappointed when that branch moved to La Finca on the way to Cabo Roig. Best fish and chips in Spain !!! Love the Quesada fish and chip shop. Food is good and great value for money. And a massive menu to pick from. The pies are awesome! We was in there just last week.

Hi Marco, yes we have tried Tweetys and it's great. Both produce first-class fish and chips. The main difference is the size of the business and the menus, but when all is said and done it's good for the consumer to be able to make their choices. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.

Did you use the power up the hill on the way back Mike? 😂 Its hard work pedalling back from Quesada, particularly if the wind is against you.

Hi Phil, thanks for watching. The bikes will go 15 km and back on a good day. It was more but the batteries are getting on a bit now.
Have you tried the Economy Cash Spanish supermarket on Toretta Florida next to St James Gate, its even cheaper. But of course it has not many english products. Quesada Fish and Chips is very good, but the service can be a bit variable, off peak hours they tend to cut down on staff and the poor girls are running round like headless chicken.

Hi, thanks for watching. I've just re-measured on Google Earth and from where we started, at home, to Quesada fish and chips is exactly 7.98 kilometres. I think we talked about 6 miles when we were in the cafe having a coffee. From Torrevieja it will be another 2.8kms on top of the 7.98kms
Hi, thanks for watching. I have re-measured the route and It is 7.97kms from our place to Quesada Fish and Chips and 2.8kms more to Torrevieja so nearly 11 km in total fro torrevieja to Ciudad Quesada.

Mike you need to get a bike helmet that fits you, that is way too small. In an accident its not going to stay in place and protect you.
