I'm scottish heritage but of all English I have the hardest time with a Scot speaking it. Love the sound of it Kevin, but pick up every third word. Your photography is stunning.
I really enjoyed torromolinos, quite a few times I got the bus from marbella bus station. The la concha mountain is a great climb with stunning views too in marbella.
Cheers for the update went to Spain in the eighties, Saw Meatloaf and Whitesnake in a Concert in Barcelona, brilliant night. August is the holiday season for the locals and in Italy and some take the whole month off.

Didn't go for years, mainly because my wife thought it was for pensioners. Spotted a decent deal in Feb into March, loved it. Its like the rest of Spain used to be and you can still have a haggle in the shops which I enjoy.

Me and a buddy went by interailing in 1981 for a month in Torremolinos.
Oboy have it changed. Seen lots of videos from torremolinos.
And only thing i recognized was the area around the train station.
Guess that a lot changed since 42 years ago.

We used to Holliday there about 30 years ago and no it doesn’t look like it’s changed that much. Mary seemed such a nice lady. Thanks Kevin.

The lift to/from the beach level is effectively behind that Mulligan's Irish pub. If you go down the streets either side of it, ahead of you will be the lift. 50c charge. Excellent place for food and cocktails called Buddha bar beside it.

Hi Kev, I stayed in the Castillo Santa Clara apts in June just a 2 minute walk from Calle San Miguel....fantastic pool, very secure, lift down to beach, 24 hr reception...Airbnb...500euro for 7 days/nights....

I'm heading to that very hotel tomorrow with a double sea room! Is the hotel food decent? And Is the bar 24 hours please?
I just checked Hotel Torremolinos Centro for a booking starting October 30 and it was £50/night. That is a typical off season price for three star. Every hotel puts up its prices during a busy week so maybe that was it.
Really great content mate. My wife and I fancied changing it up a bit but not straying from the tried and tested gems that are the Spanish costas. We were leaning towards Torremolinos or Benalmadena and thanks to your videos we've narrowed it down to having an argument over which of the two 😂👌

We spent a few days at the end of season there in late October,It was very quiet,but the weather was on our side.I actually bought a great leather handbag from one of those side streets,I haggled and saved about 20 euros on the original price..Thanks for the vlog Kevin

Carihuela is the place to be, lots of Apartments although not many hotels. Mediteranno Hotel is good

Kevin. Loved Costa Del Sol when we there in April. If in Benalmadena please go past the Marina along to the bars next to the beach and one called Dizzy Donkey. You can also get there from the road opposite side of the road from Mallarkeys. 😎

Im looking just now for october and everywhere in Spain, Cyprus etc are all minimum 1800 for 2 people for a week all inclusive. Absolute disgrace I won't be back abroad if they are going to charge silly money.
That's the market rate.....there's a lot of demand and don't forget that a lot of these smaller family based hotels were almost ruined during the lockdown. Many went under or had to sell out to the big chains. They're just trying to get something back. It'll return to normal I reckon next near......

In August all the factories courts etc are all closed and on holiday for the whole month so the hotels are all full during august

These next couple of weeks will be expensive wherever you stay. The weekend just past was the beginning of the Spanish holidaymaker influx, this next four weeks will be extremely busy (with prices to match). Malaga, which is close by, have their Ferias (fairs), one in town the other on the outskirts at the main fairground. Enjoy your stay wherever you might end up, Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola are great places to holiday. Hope to see you around.

Was in nch hotel 2018 for Xmas,a nice place basic but very handy for the bars and restaurants,and it was 24dgs on Christmas Day 😎 marvellous,can't wait to visit again 👍🍷🍷🏴😎

August you will never get cheap hotels, the main Spanish holidays.
Had a place in benalmadena for 15 years kevin and lived there,you sure picked a bad month for a cheap hotel you are lucky to get one.august is the main month for spanish holidays.
