Queensrÿche - Light Years, Drums

First time to be able to play my kit since the pandemic began! This was just a bit of fun trying to challenge myself with a not so standard rock song!
Most AC/DC type songs are straight ahead 4/4 but this track by Queensrÿche has a bit more: 4/4, 7/8, 6/8, 3/4 etc!
This version was recorded on my own in a Covid friendly studio at the end of a few long days of trial and error. By this stage I’d worn the skin off two fingers on my right hand but was determined to get a half decent recording even though I was knackered! It’s by no means perfect but just something for my ageing rock buddies to check out!
This was the first time to record with a full set of microphones but I didn't have an option to separately mix the levels of each drum as I didn’t have access to a multichannel DAW, so I just used the stereo output from my Behringer mixer in to Garageband. Thanks to Gavin O’Sullivan for most of the mic’s.
Ideally it’s going to sound better with decent speakers if you want to hear the low bass end of the kit.
