Suggestion for a vid, hard wired firewalls. As I stated on one of your vids regarding wifi cameras, im running a hard wired firewall. It's a mikrotik running react os. As I stated it stopped my isp from renaming my devices. Cost was under 60 us.
I have run an open source free Linux based "firewall" called Smoothwall (Smoothwall.org) there are many others available. I've been using DD-WRT on my routers which has a decent firewall built in so I haven't felt the need for a separate firewall. The reason I put firewall in quotations earlier is because it's much more than a firewall it can be used as a full fledged router as well. I will consider this for a future video though.
