If you need to have a second router connected to the primary modem/router and the second router to have dd-wrt with openvpn, what steps to follow? I see you did like 4th octet change to like 192.168.1.x for a second router but in some circumstances you did a 3rd octet change in some.

I believe so. But I'm not sure it would be all that great an option. The point here is security and privacy and for a very cheap price (a month service with PIA is less than what you pay for one coffee) you get all that here(paid): www.piavpn.com/RichardLloyd I will look into it and see what's available and consider making a video on that subject too.
