    nice video. In the land occupied by slums, if apartment buildings could be built for the poor people, that will help provide them better accommodation and more hygienic living. They can still operate their business if the ground and first floor of each building is dedicated to business where needed.. Just a matter of planning and execution. And most of the buildings in Mumbai need a fresh coat of paint and the skyline will look so much better.

      @ColtraneTaylor Před 2 lety

      All that was planned and reports made in the 80s and 90s. But good idea to have the lower floors for their businesses. That will make it more like Amsterdam. Frankly I hate the skyscrapers. You need just very few of those otherwise it looks like a skyscraper slum.

      Replacing slums with building apartments for poor is a very good proposal that will give the city a polished look. But it's a very gigantic project

    • @harankumar7745
      @harankumar7745 Před 10 měsíci

      It's not a gigantic project. it's a matter of 10-12 years to transform entire slum areas of Mumbai into better shape (100-200 buildings of 25-30 floors. First 5 floors (GF to L5) for businesses. Besides, school, hospital etc. Better late than never.

      Tabhi to udhar har 10 din me 15 se 20 buildings gir jata hai
      Bro even making luxurious car like farrari and Lamborghini take about 5 to 6 month and
      And their lifespan s about half century
      And car which takes 1 to 2 hours which is affordable for midile class person their lifespan is only 15 to 20 yrs
      See the quality

    Can this Mono rail be extended further to CSMT or Colaba? And can a wing be routed through Kurla-Bandra VIA Kalina & BKC? It will be very lucrative

      It may be Asia's richest. But it can't give home to 55% of Mumbai's population.
      And why would they. If they give them home, more other people's will come and settle in new areas with so called slums. Some people who get home sell their home to go back in slums as they don't afford to live in apartment.

    • @atharva1929

      They should be given job outside Mumbai somewhere they can afford both rent and daily expenses.

      If we give them home they will live in slums and just rent out the house as passive income, it has happened and no efficient way is evident for economic divide to decrease in a "capitalist" country
