Very nice Peter! Wish I could have finished my dash, but life, and transmission problems seem set against me . Maybe next spring proper things happen.
As always hard to tell by a phone recording, CZcams compression and my headphones to judge how it actually sounds like. But I can't imagine anything less than sublime!
Even with all that said, I agree btw, the system sounds incredibly balanced.
on my system at home this sounds surprisingly good through their microphone. a little warm/heavy in the bass but hey, its car audio lol

Awesome video Peter. There’s a lot of uneducated comments on here and you’re simply too good for it all. Most of me don’t even need a reply. If ever anyone could sit and have a listen to one of your systems and just understand what’s at play they’d never question it as long as they live. I’ve seen a few 5star comments and as decent as they are they’re not really on the same level and the Porsche Cayenne video proved that. People need to wake and realise what’s important and the right after that drive the car straight to you for a PS Sound system. I can talk because I have a PS Sound system and its got nothing to do with being biased, simply sit down and have a listen.
I never care about those who are negative or don’t get it. I care about those who want to experience the difference. You definitely understand it now! 😎

I have no idea how this is possible but listening to the songs on this video sound better on here through the video than through my AirPods then listening to the song on Spotify off my iPad if that makes any since

I do like to hear these demos even though I know it will sound nothing like that in person, I find it infuriating when car audio videos never give a demo and just show it being installed :D

Well, in a car the biggest enemy is the road noise, so you need a system that can play above that. Having said that, 85dB+ long term can be harmful and tiring for the ear, so the quieter you can make the environment, the better.
I usually listen to music at around 90dB on journeys, but of course there are times when i can appreciate it at 80dB late night or at 100+ at the front-end for a short time when i pop down to the shop! 😃🔊🔊

How does the fx3 focals sound to you?
Im going to install them, but i have heart people talk smack about them being way too bright. I am getting them tuned with Helix dsp, will that help to get it warmer?
98% of people can not tune at all, so they clearly call all Focal speakers harsh as all they hear is the peaks in response created by the environment. All speakers can be harsh in inexperienced hands, so don’t worry about any of those people.

Still not happy about it though. I think my DLS is the main problem. I got a DLS ca CCi44 (85W RMS). I use it with the crossovers, but im thinking about getting one more DLS to get one for each side. If not getting Audison or Rebec, either with or without crossover. Not really sure what to do hear, because they wasnt that much better than my FXE focals..
What do you think?
@pssound how do you take the brightness of the focals?
By tuning it with a mic.
@@pssound9749 I tune with a mic and the 1000hz - 4000hz range is always too bright. When I turn down those frequencies, the music sounds dull

I use REW to EQ each driver separately. Then play one side all speakers linked, take Accoustic measurement and EQ that.
I use a house curve.

@@timburton1080 it’s even shown in this video with the clamp meter on it. We saw max 21amp with music. Engine was off. That is nothing for a big AGM battery.

There’s nothing wrong with Focal other than most of their mid-high speakers are less forgiving when users can’t tune.
focal tweets are trash for there price , get jbl or skar and save money .

I'm not a fan of Focal tweetersbut I would choose them every day rather than the ones you mentioned 😅
@@mikkolaine4883 I guess you haven't heard them side by side. Cause I have purchased them all and the jbl gtos are what sounds better.
@@mikkolaine4883 all that's needed to soften the sound is 2db lower @ 4k but also reduce the midrange at 400 by 2db and its seamless. I have jl c7, brax matrix and focal krx3. All have their own character but focal wants to be loud
