Yes, I know exactly how it feels to stub a toe so hard that it breaks. Did that last week, same toe as pictured. Good thing I don't walk much, mostly bedbound.
i hit mine 3 times in the one day(desk, chair, table) and got a circular bruise around it. couldn't move it for the first week. no idea if was broken, didn't check. looked just like that.
the big toe on the other foot, I dropped a large lump of wood on, which hit edge first, 2 mths later the bruise under the nail is just starting to fade.
I want to make and sell coffee tables that look like volcanos, yeah call them krakatoa 😆😆😆😵
I stubbed by slipping while running from carpet to hardwood a few years ago. I had a few beers in me so. when my foot slammed the extremely unmoved and uncaring table, it hurt but I hammed it up by making light of it - "Oh mah toe bone - oh mah leg bone ... blah blah" - but then I reached for the foot and tried to investigate and assess damage. Upon touching my sock I realized that one of my toes was broken - which isn't bad - and coming THROUGH the SKIN - which IS bad. So long story short - I didn't drive, but we got there and I was repaired.

That's a common spot for a KKK flaming cross tattoo, so I'm thinking he had one there and had it removed.

@@bigredc222 I had a friend who had a small circle tattooed same spot. Don't ask why, I asked and I got a shrug with " I thought it looked cool." response. There are a lot of people who just think tattoos, of any size, as something horrible and the person has to be a bad or evil person for having one. Or, businesses consider tattoos as being unprofessional, no matter the size.
I've seen so many foggy Grand Canyon pics that people drove hours to see. Does anyone check the weather conditions before making that trip? That would probably be the first thing you should do.
Fog is unpredictable. Even if you checked the weather all it doesnt take much to form. When it comes to the Grand Canyon however it happens when the cooler air at the bottom gets trapped by the air above. Some pretty nice vids of such happening. But yeah, its hard to predict and they would have noticed it happening as they approached.

At 10:05, after Hurricane Ian passed last year (no damage, thankfully), I went to leave the house. Garage door spring was broken; I couldn't get out. Tried to find a company to come out. I heard a lot of "Well, we're REALLY BUSY because of the storm". Yeah, got it. Finally I found one in the next town to come and fix the door for $350. Then, I went to back out, and the car would not start. Dead battery. So, towing, $75, and another $300 for a new battery installation. Just wasn't my Vulcan day!

The tow bar and the garage is an easy one.
1) pull the door release cord so you don’t mess up the engine. It releases any tension that’s on it from the first time you tried to open the door.
2) start the car and inch forward just an inch, maybe two .
3) press the remote to open the door.
What happened when you parked your car last time was taking your foot off the break the car rolled back those few inches.
You now have to move forward.
Simple.
The chicken gravy, those handles come off, slide it up and take the frozen gravy out, replace the handle.

It’s suppose to be a safety feature in case the door closes on the car or a person.
However if the cord is not pulled away from the opening/ windows. A thief could use it to get into your home.
They break the window (if your door has one), stick a pole in to grab the cord and pull it. They then push the door up and they are inside the garage.

I have put large patches on the inside of tires with holes other than the tread. 5:15 Even on the sidewall, which is supposedly a big no no. It held for years.
I had my car in the shop to get something done. The guy says you need new tires. I said why. He pointed to the plug in the side wall of my $25, used tire. He said you can't plug the side wall of a tire. I said, I did. He said it won't work. I said it's been working for 3 years. lol
I patched tires for years, I never had a complaint.

Someone stabbed the sidewall of my snow tire (years ago) .I put a large patch on the inside, and I put it on very carefully. Used them on several cars for years. Never lost a pound of pressure.
And of course NEVER use plugs

Dang. I KNEW I recognized that but couldn't quite place it. Its been over 20 years since I lived in West Ashley.
Imagine struggling to pay the bills, then see that 100 dollar tip and your heart skips a beat for joy. Then opening it and finding they wear cheap as dirt and didn't even leave the usual tip. That's not a prank. That's plain evil. My heart sank for the person, who receives such a meanness. I seriously hope, that one day the person who does this to others will need kindness himself and it will flee from him. Until he repents of this cruel behavior. Anyone seriously being sorry for stupidity and turning away from it, deserves a second chance. But not before that.

@@Guillaume2606 Where ever I went in the world, it was normal to leave a tip. But in some countries the wages are less bad, than in the USA. Mostly students work as waiting staff and tipping them about 10% of the bill is normal in Western Europe as well.
You should try busting your buns as a host for two shifts doing 90% of the bussing, not getting tipped out only to find out the wait staff make twice as much working half the time you just did.

The broke pinky toe at 7:17. I did the same thing about 8 years ago, same toe, same foot. My 4-year-old son decided to run naked through the house (he only did this when all curtains were opened), I chased him, then I ran into the little table next to the couch. Lots of me yelling from pain, Hubby giggling, and kids freaking out cause Mommy's hurt. Very happy it was summer, so oversized crocs were all I used till the blue, purple, and green bruise went away. My bruising looked similar to the pic with more blue all over the toe.

I just did it to my middle toe on my left foot 6 months ago while coming back from a middle of the night bathroom trip, turned too soon and slammed foot into the trim. Took forever to heal. At the time I was dealing with a dent in my right shin that I got a month before by tripping while coming in the house and whacking it on the metal plate, I can still see and feel that… my dr said it’s fine…
I broke my toe when I was 5 by getting it stuck in a Lego and twisted it I’m a 12 year old boy now and I’ll never forget the pain
I was helping my husband move a very heavy table leaf. Of course, I dropped it right on my toe. I had to go get an x-ray. Instant technicolor foot. It was January 1st, at 11:30 at night. In the Ozarks. That I managed to get back home in one piece was a minor miracle, since about halfway home it started sleeting and I was watching the temperature drop, praying it wouldn't reach 32 degrees. And that's one place you do not want to be sliding around in a car. That was exhilarating.

@@thirtynine3955 the ring finger on my right foot I fell down four steps and hit the door frame I did not sounded like a sailor I nearly did but you can bet it was in my head I didn't even go to the hospital until an hour later I didn't know it was broken I honestly thought I just hit it a bit too hard and bruise it because I had fallen down those steps multiple times because we had just moved into a new house with weird stairs that turned and had a deep fall of about four feet if you missed the step

It was an old well that was in the house. The house was built in the 19th century. This actually happened in my home state of Connecticut. And those are the EXACT pictures from the rescue.
Had test of 48 things,reaction to all but 1. Guess what,I'm not allergic to a Birch tree.I said whats that look like?. Worst allergic reaction was dust mites,covered half my back.Crash cart and all,had to stay for hrs.Now can only have blood tested. They are fly eggs. Rice absorbs moisture, and during 3 days of "pre-cooking" they would expand and break. 3 days of pre-cooking... Man, that makes no damn sense (the pre cooking thing). But yeah, they do look somewhat like really thin and relatively long grains of rice.
All it takes is one large pregnant black fly and 20 seconds . We used to tape up the pizza box at lunch if it did not fit in the fridge on Fridays where I worked . Them flies would stay hidden somewhere away from a flyswatter just to lay eggs - they did not care about eating .
