Stella - The 7 day miracle puppy transformation

- Just last week, little Stella wouldn't let any of us touch her. We'd found her last week with a bit of string around her neck that was slowly strangling her.
She'd obviously been poorly treated by humans and she was terrified.
Just a week on, her whole outlook has changed and she's slowly coming round to the belief that humans can possibly be quite nice.

It's not luck, it's YOU. You were so tuned into to Stella and how she was connecting with other dogs. You KNEW which dogs would help Stella the most. GENIUS.

Thank you, Niall, for saving Stella. She is such a sweet special girl who had a very rough start in life. And a great big thank you to Rusty who seems to have turned into a great therapy dog for the new babies. I think Stella will eventually find the perfect forever home.

Thank you so much for rescuing poor Stella. The deep, raw gouge that the string made as she grew and it tightened around her neck was unbelievably cruel and sickening to see. She had to be in excruciating pain all the time from that deep wound and she is so lucky that some type of infection originating from that wound didn’t kill her. No wonder she was weary of humans and quick to bite by the time you tried to capture her. I am so happy that you and your team got her the veterinary care and medication she needed to start the healing process. It is wonderful to see her learning to begin to trust humans again and for her to have new canine friends to play with and be with on a regular basis. She appears to be so happy with her life now. Thank you for your caring, patience, kindness, love and your willingness to keep her at your facility for the foreseeable future. You all are a Godsend to these poor, mistreated dogs. Bless you.

Love seeing this! I have a similar story. Grew up in the country where a lot of dogs got dumped. Had a golden lab show up one day hanging out with our dogs, but was super skittish and wouldn’t let anyone get close. We noticed that he had a big leather collar that looked embedded from being so tight. Took a few days feeding him in our garage when I finally managed to corner him. I immediately removed his collar and neck was raw, but nothing like Stella’s. The transformation in him was immediate. It was amazing to see once we realized we wanted to help and he was no longer there in pain. He became attached to my hip and obviously found his forever home with us.
Rusty should win dog of the year 🐾🐾🐕💙💙💙. So happy for little Stella. She is an absolute star. Thank you Niall and team 💞
