Love him and his style. The fact that he works with Danny L Harle on so many projects is like a dream come true. They both produce such unique and immersive tracks that are an entire experience each time you listen to them. I love the innovation and deviation from what you might expect to come next.

Check out sonic charge Echobode VST. This is probably what he is using, given he is a fan of Sonic Charge Plugins. The VST gives whatever you put it on the ability to alter the LFO, creating a flanger-like effect that sounds pleasant, especially on drums. He is probably not only automating the feedback, but mixing in more of the effect as the track “builds”. Producers aren’t going to go too deep into plugins because at the end of the day your musical ideas are most important, and composing a full track without getting bored is actually the hardest part of production, not finding cool sounds or plugins to make your mixes better.

I love Echobode and keep forgetting to use it! I also love their Permut8. I'd never heard of Lagrange but it looks super cool and just picked it up. @@antoniog2854 not sure tbh but i asume it‘s some kind of slight modulation of delay time with the feedback cranked up… another thing i know that i saw on a perto stream is using the serumfx reverb with the shortest size and shortest decay time to give like a really metallic tail and he distorts it after that with saturation. but i think you will just have to try some stuff out to get the tone youre looking for

You can replicate this kind of sound if you know how to do patch modulation (all daws have this capability, fl, ableton, reason, etc). Essentially what it is, is stacked delays. Like a lot of them. All different delay tempos and feedbacks. Causes phasey metallic sounds (because of offsetting tempos and such). Route all the tempo knobs to one output knob and do the same with the feedback knob and you basically get a free metallic phasey plugin in your own daw! I might make a vid of it for FL Studio

His production is extremely unique and melodies often very beautiful. He finds/makes so weird and harsh sounds that somehow end up sounding really pretty. You never know what to expect. I´d recommend to get good headphones, sit back, play songs from Skin, HTIF and Palaces and focus on not only the melody or drums or vocals, but those little details around everything. As a producer i can´t but admire his sound choise and sound design. His music is beautiful, interesting, banging, tranquil, innovative and fun. So i think he is not overrated at all.
