Yeah man. I remember the glory days and say that the MLS is really screwing us by building these superteams and forgetting its powerhouse. I know we have to make with what we got but we dont have a great, deep squad like we used to. We have some quality but to say were gonna be winning a title anytime soon is a mile stretch.

Pretty stupid of Ola Kamara do get himself sent off. First, why would take your shirt off to celebrate the first goal in the 26th minute? Now you have to be really disciplined for the remaining 64 minutes. Second why would you then pull someone down so blatantly while you're on a yellow card? The referee didn't even need VAR to send him off. All in the first half too. Cost his team the win and himself a Man of the Match too. Could have scored a hat-trick too.

The Kamara ejection really turned the tide of the game in the Verde’s favor and down a man DC completely collapsed. There was a rocking atmosphere at home and not closing out the game up 2 goals is unacceptable.

It's kind of maddening, the way the cross was floated up there - he even stepped forward, following his instincts. Then look what happens. I see that all the time nowadays, goalkeepers rooted on their line even tho oftentimes they have a height advantage to claim crosses

Excessive celebration which includes taking your Jersey off, dumb rule but smart players only do it when it’s a stoppage time game winning goal.
Female arbiter, she is one of the most hated in Fifa btw.
@@revoltoff Nothing to do with her being female - "removing the shirt or covering the head with the shirt" is a mandatory caution under Law 12. FWIW, being hated is just part of the job description - refs earn FIFA badges for competence, not geniality.

It's only if she shirt comes completely off. Which is why you are a lot of players just pull it up, instead of pulling it off completely

Austin FC committed some horrific defensive errors first half. The statue like defending gifted DC a 2 goal lead, the game should have been well out of sight by Half Time. Then Kamara gets himself stupidly sent off, and finally a massive GK blunder gifts a victory. Not in the least bit convinced by this Austin team.

When will we agree as soccer fans that taking your shirt off after you score isn’t a bookable offense. It’s one of the best celebrations in the sport and there’s no way celebrating that way should put you a tactical foul away from a red card.
The same rule applies to everyone. Not much of an excuse. Plus shirt off that early in the game is just asking for it.

It's the DC commentating crew. MLS doesn't have neutral commentators except for nationally broadcast games. Local commentators are paid to boost their clubs.
This is one of those games where one team thinks things are going their way and all the sudden the other team leads the score with 15-10 minutes left in the half. 🟢 Verde! Listos!

7:03 Double error of the goalkeeper, beyond the clear error when trying to save the ball, his biggest mistake was not having gone out to cut that "floating" delivery, if he had gone out with all his strength to capture the ball or hit it with his fists, (even if it meant tearing away at his teammate and rival) He would not have conceded such a silly goal. :s
