  • Have you seen my latest video? 👉 👉 czcams.com/users/southysfishing?su...
    After great succession of my last Navionics video I decided to put together another one that covers all of the fundamentals of Navionics. This video is aimed at someone who has just heard about the app and has no idea how to use it!
    My favourite type of fishing is lure fishing for bass off the inflatable boats (sibs), they are perfect. They are super quick to set up, they are fast, and can go in such shallow water, it's amazing! Inflatable boat fishing is becoming more and more popular as people realise you do not need an expensive boat to reach the marks out at sea. You can buy a setup for around £2000-£3500 and this will do you fine.
    I love going beach fishing, shore fishing but nothing beats boat fishing on these inflatable boats. You can find the fish a lot easier, they are fast and most importantly much more fun!
    If you like the video please subscribe to Southys Fishing this will really help me out, also please check out my other videos, these mainly focus on boat fishing in the UK.

    One thing to note here, if the wreck is 'old', you only get the wreck icon and no 'shapes' on the sea bed. But if the wreck is fairly 'new', that's where navionics are able to show the structure of it. I've had a few people mention this after downloading the app and expecting every wreck to show something up....

    • @SouthysFishing
      @SouthysFishing  Před 2 lety +1

      That's interesting, one thing I would say is if you want the best accuracy you should pair it with a fish finder. Use navionics to find the location of the wreck and then the fish finder to get the exact location 👍

  • @ddouhne450

    Great video. Does the desk top version produce a higher quality image than an IPAD? I notice when I’m in the relief shading setting, the image is not as clear and detailed, as what you were showing? No big deal, just curious.

    • @SouthysFishing
      @SouthysFishing  Před rokem

      Yes desktop is slightly clearer but not much really. It's never that clear if you zoom right in. Some wrecks are clearer than others too

    • @SouthysFishing
      @SouthysFishing  Před 2 lety +1

      If I get a nice flat day I will give it a go yes but only if it's perfect otherwise it's normally more hassle than its worth and is not as fun! Fishing will pick back up again in February if not. 👍 Thanks for watching

    • @SouthysFishing
      @SouthysFishing  Před rokem +1

      I don't think it will matter which phone you have, may just be the ground you are looking over. I fish around Shoreham and Brighton have a look on there.
