Tunde Marvin Giwa was my very good friend. I promoted his music business while with the Daily Times even when I moved to PM News. I also know a good number of artistes using his musical instruments up till now. A very good and honest man indeed.

Were is still being practiced among muslim faithful n some area today. I did performed Were with friends in my hometown in the late eighties and none of us became a musician or ever dream of becoming one.
It's just a fun thing we did to wake people up for Saari. Using alarm wasn't prominent in our area at the time. And besides, it's like a culture.
Marvin Giwa has no reason to lie about this. Were or no Were, Marvin Giwa is a Legend, so is K1.
