@@empcycleworks You're doing a great job. A little too hard on yourself though. Maybe approach making videos like you're training an apprentice and forget the camera is there. Sort of like you're having a conversation with a trainee. It all takes time and practice. If you didn't say you were new to making videos, not many people would pick up on that. You're doing much better than you think!
This motor was just rebuilt after a catastrophic engine failure. Our best guess is that metal fragments were not cleaned out of the intake and ran through the motor. Destroying it
@@empcycleworks Man, that sucks. Pays to be thorough. I got my yz125 cheap in 2014 due to previous owner putting a new piston in backwards. Ring snagged exhaust port. Was the first time I ever split cases just to make sure no shrapnel was left in there, and even though I didn't find any -- if I had skipped it, with my luck, I would've had a piece show up like this one did.
Nice work Joe 👍
Thanks for the comment. I love the attention to detail. I think i am a better mechanic than CZcamsr.

Great video! ✅ ✅ ✅
Thank you sister!
5:34 Ouch. Since that ended up not being the piston ring land pin, wonder where it came from?
