Excellent job with the minimum of tools and equipment ---- the only noticeable hickup is the fact that the Engine was rebuilt but its still barking out black smoke from the exhaust ----- not normal ---- must be residual oil when the pistons was lubricated in the re-assembling process ----- definitely oil burning --- not diesel --- if it was the injector pump or injectors there would be white smoke billowing out
It is quite normal after rebuild..the stucked engine oil in turbo or engine tubings will be burned out ...first 50 km may be there after that no more smoke
These guys know what they are doing. It is a harsh work environment, but they make the best of it. I wonder why someone doesn't pick up the litter scattered around the general area?

Every time I overhauled an engine I had a bucket of nuts and bolts left over. Couldn't find where they went.
Ah, the infamous leftover bolts! They're like the mystery of every engine overhaul. Maybe they're just backup bolts, in case the others get tired? 😄🔩
