This is sooooo slow burn but for some reason I was so happy with him typing in “happy to do that again” and then deleting it. Means there’s progress and he’s definitely falling for her. He stops fighting it. Guys, this is the first time I feel like the writers are doing something right. There is so much build up and slow burn. Nothing seems rushed by now.

Barchie is endgame it has been since the beginning Archie was just in denial because he didn't feel good enough for her after season 2 he started accepting thise feeling but didn't do anything because she was with jughead people dont get when you love someone and you see them happy with someone else you let them go. The problem here is we all know betty still has feelings for him and him for her they are just with other people because they are both scared of going through with it because it's easier to be with the people they are now .
Than to seek their relationship i have a feeling they are still going to end up together though with the way he was texting her and she him.

Betty and Archie were maaade for each other. Whenever Archie talks about Betty, his eyes just light up like a little kid who gets rewarded candy. Their relationship is like no other on the show and they just really deserve each other.
More than anything this makes me miss season 1 of riverdale it was honestly such a great evoking show with so much potential. Can't wait to see more barchie appear - it just feels so good and right for them to have each other.

I've seen a lot of good Barchie edits but thisssss omg it's unreal! I love how their relationship is a slow burn. At first Betty loves Archie and now he's falling for her, but I feel like he's going to ask to be with her and she's going to turn him down and only then will they get together. I honestly think this was a big step, because by now it was always Betty chasing Archie. Meanwhile look at that progress, in the beginning of the show Archie would reject Betty, then was unsure when they first kiss, and now you could tell by how he kissed her back and smiled during the text that he starts to let it happen. He’s definitely falling for her and that’s exactly how we all wanted it. We never wanted them to happen right after she kissed him the first time. I really want him to realize that he loves her and fight for her. Not just because she’s easy and available.

barchie is so under-appreciated, it's always over shadowed by bughead and varchie shippers. and whenever barchie gets even a fraction of a moment, they shit all over it. i seriously hope that they are endgame for 2 reasons. 1 i can finally be satisfied that i put up with season 3 and a bit of season 4, and 2, i can shove it my sister's face who is a bughead shipper

For the LONGEST time, we haven’t seen JUST them share a scene together. After 2x09, they didn’t share a SINGLE scene together since 3x01 which was for a few seconds. Then again, 10+ episodes later, or a whole season i truly forget, they shared a scene for a few moment. Regarding the kiss, sure i had “hope” if you want to call it that, it was “real”, but i knew jug was alive and it was bettys plan. Something interesting about the kiss was, Archie leaned in the second time and the length of the kiss. If anything, it could have just been a peck on the lips for Cheryl to take the picture and then dip, but no. They literally could have faked the kiss but nope... Also, during the scene where both jug is talking to Betty and Veronica is talking to Archie. I found it to be, foreshadowing. In both conversations, the tone was the same. During both conversations, the same question was asked, did you feel anything? Did old feelings come back? Both Archie and Betty answered in the same fashion.
“You’re the only woman for me “-Archie said. With Betty it was, “You’re the only man for me”.
Then we have the text message scene where Archie and Betty are talking about the kiss that happened. Archie is staring at his phone and looking at the words “anytime”. It’s almost as if, maybe the kiss brought up some old feelings (hence s2 and s1) (a little part of me always thought”) and then him deleting it. Before deleting, we see that Archie is literally staring at his phone and if he should keep the message of “ill kiss you anytime”. After deleting, Archie smiles and holds his phone tight. It’s almost as if, the kiss MAYBE meant something more for him. Betty saying “sorry if i was a bad kisser”. I found this one odd because there was no need. Again, they didn’t even need to kiss or “make out” why? Because literally NO ONE SAW THEM. Also the picture was blurry 😂😂. If I’m being honest, i loved the text message scene more than the actual kiss because we could see them communicating. As a lover of the comics, I’m disappointed with how they treated/are treating barchie. The are supposed to be BEST FRIENDS and yet the show turned them into not even friends anymore. It became more about “ships” and incorporating Stan names into shows. #barchieisrising.. really? Why was that necessary... anywho, I’m rambling on so I’ll end with this final message. Although i do love barchie and want them to be together, i just want their relationship to be fixed and be the best friends that they THE CHARACTERS AND THE SHOW told us they were. Love the video,

Why do people say "Archie rejected her"... that's all he ever did and that was 4 seasons ago. Jughead also kissed Toni, kissed Veronica to get back at Betty and Archie, brought out the worst of her in the Serpents, wrote a story about Hal, lied to Betty continuously... like, I really love them together but it's time for something new. the argument that Archie rejected her four seasons ago is just ridiculous lol. He's been there for her non-stop.

If you look in the storyline of Archie, about 90% of the hell he endured had Veronica somehow involved. Their relationship was always more physical and TOXIC. Note how when something’s wrong Veronica is always getting naked, while the one he talks to about it and works through it with is Betty. Peep who he texts more. Betty.
