I mean it is interchangeable, but also important to remember that power scaling is subjective and based on how an individual interprets the portrayal of what they do.
Example... a person who counts a character's wins as a measurement of strength as opposed to someone who does not, could potentially have very different ideas of who would be put where and for what reasons.

Kanoh agito at number 10 shows how big power creep has become.
Many of the spots on the list were interchangeable though. The #10 spot isn't as bad as it looks.

It was a good list, the shake ups in the top five spoke some honesty about the "friends of Shen" not Worms anymore or a function of Death Dealers they are hard to name. I have Masaki in my list to start off the clones in rankings. Gensei is 2 until that cyber brain comes in.

Wu Hei should've been in the number 2 spot. We know that Gilbert Wu still thinks Wu Hei was stronger than him, and likely would've been the strongest Kure clan member in history. He was the reason that the Kure and Wu clans even have the nickname of Taboo Children in the first place. Although his strength is unquantifiable since he hasn't shown anything, he should be at least 2 if Gilbert's number 2
True, but he can't be rated due to the five representations of him were berserkers who lacked balance even Edward only used finishers, that surprised me about Tiger Niko using finesse moves against Setsuna, until that off screen end.
I do love that every single one of Sandrovich's works exist in the same universe, and will interact with the others in some way. Strike It Rich explicitly talks about the Kengan Association and Purgatory as part of the structure of underworld fighting that makes a critical element of the series. Not to mention at least one character from all of his series (other than Fist of the Seeker) going to the same Girls' High School!

They nerfed kanoh so bad, ashura fang was a beast, exchanging strikes with kuroki on peak of pre initiative to now be on par with a judo fighter who not even use to strike
@@luizfellipe2500Bro Jurota is easily on Lolong, Kuroki, and Kanoh's level. People underestimate him way too much and then get disappointed when he fights people at his level and wins with high difficulty.

I do like that the top 10 as a whole is actually pretty close. Even with the Connector, Ohma being confident he could find a way to win means he isn't THAT much further above the other top 10, after all. Not to mention Kuroki's statement about Kanoh, implying that despite this list putting them a decent distance apart, and in a way I think is logical, Kanoh still has a good shot. There probably aren't any "10-0" matchups in this list, which is rare for a fighting manga ranking this many characters. Even with Shen, it's probably at least 9-1 of him vs the bottom 4 of this list. Maybe closer, if Ohma is to be believed.
Great list. Though, I wouldn't put Gilbert at 2 since he's still young and clearly isn't the brightest bulb yet, making mistakes Edward wouldn't. Also not many feats while Kuroki is an established top tier.
The only thing I would change in the list is Kuroki. The Beard is number 2 for me.

Kuroki 2nd rn for sure. Ohma will rise the ranks. I think he will learn potential unlocking from the kure clan and combine it with his own boost. Then he will literally oneshot somebody strong. And he will teach raian the same. I think together they will beat shen in a match. After this louhan actually succeds becoming godlike and even better then shen almost killing shen afterwards with the other niko on his side among many powerful worm members who we will get introduced to. The final fight will be 7v7 with Shen Ohma raian yan kuroki koga and ryuki . Also ji will be on the otherside. This is what i envision as something thats logical as an ending.
VMatt released a top 25 most strongest/most powerful in Lookism just a day ago and it made me realise .
I know that people and enthusiasts compare Baki and Kengan. But it's a much closer matchup if comparing Kengan with Lookism, since the power gap isn't as much as Baki has .
Fist Of The Seeker would be closer with the Garouden manga that Baki's Itagaki is or was working on .
And Baki with all it's insane scaling and power should be closer to History's Strongest Disciple Kenichii.
And I'd be interested in knowing who'd win in a three-way fight bw any one of the Ragnarok's human side, Yujiro Hanma and Raoh or Kaioh.

Latest chapter shows how Louhan was confirmed by Shen as the man closest to him. So technically Louhan is the second strongest. He's stronger than kuroki.
The thing is, Shen held back against Kuroki, half of his body is an insult, while he did louhan dirty. Also confirmed in the latest chapter, Louhan can get close to shen if he gets his memories but Shen is still slightly stronger.
We have some unknown factors for other characters like Katsuya, we can't rank him since he hasn't been shown back yet and Joji refuses to show what level.he really is. But they're probably the strongest guys in kengan team.
Kuroki is strong but he is not number 2, if he is shen would have mentioned it. So technically, he did not include gaoh mukaku or others from other countries.
Ohma also got a monstrous buff by shen's advice, so we don't know. By this point ohma can possibly beat Kuroki. He got a massive powerup, and we expect raian to get one too.
I find it crazy that Ashura Top-tiers Julius and Waka aren't even Top 10 anymore, the 2 physically strongest and most durable characters have just been powercrept to shit ever since the last tournament, Fs in the chat for my two fav characters, really hope they come back later in the series to show that techniques mean nothing in front of absolute power.

Well if anything is certain given Sandrovich's favour for pulling the rug out from under our feet and all, I wouldn't be surprised if this list shifts dramatically.
Wakatsuki is still shaping up particularly for some development because he's had this arc of being in this really uncharacteristic slump despite being one of the strongest fighters canonically.
It's hard to say with any certainty, but I would like to believe some respect gets put back on the wild tiger and he enters his absolute monster days again... although I'm biased... Wakatsuki is my favourite, but I also feel narratively, him dominating out of left field in some way fits Sandrovich's writing proclivities and would work well to bring back some relevancy to the Kengan team again.

"Luohan's would ever be” so i wouldn’t take the would ever be statement to heart imo.
And its quite obvious he isn’t slouch in any regard seeing as how Louhan took a an unguarded back fist from Shen to the face with minimal damage afterwards
Imo the ranking would be
1. Shen Wulong
2/3/4/5 Niko, Gilbert, Yan, Louhan (very interchangeable and most are planning on getting stronger)
6. Kuroki ( was kinda overhyped, yes he “damaged” Shen but shen was only using half his body and was holding back, while kuroki stated himself that he was unable to do anything but guard and counter its not that he was holding back on purpose he literally couldn’t go all out)
7.Ohma (Mukaku’s dead he would be here Ohma would just move down)
8.Kanoh
9. Lolong
10. Raian (hasn’t shown anything recently, obviously is getting stronger)
Honorable mentions Setsuna one of the trickiest and most lethal fighters and is very underrated, Jurota relative to kanoh and Lolong, Fu was a le to stall lolong, Ji has potential to surpass his brother dude can literally be in the top 5 strongest ironically

@@samumutka9236 didn’t feel like doing the whole Ohma/Kanoh/Lolong/Raian thing their pretty relative, imo i think Ohma Kanoh and Raian have both narratives and in verse potential to become stronger than guys like Lolong Jurota and others.
But they each have pros that support them to be relative

I think there is some flaw with your assesment of Llong, he had a matchup advantage against Omha in pokemon terms its like if ash threw a fire type agaisnt a water type and then the fire type won, that means that the difference in power between the fire and water type is larger than the advantage the water type had, that is why Omha is considered greatly stronger than Llong

The story is getting actually interesting which I like. At first, I found the story kinda boring especially the first few arks, I would’ve prefer the association still allow deaths because matches would have stayed interesting but at we’re at least going in way where matches naturally occur

The writing and power-scaling in this story is inconsistent as hell, so I choose to rank fighters based on my understanding of their ability, not the writing/plot.
Personally, I think it goes:
1. Shen (of course)
2. Gilbert (not a normal human being)
3. Raian (also not a normal human being. Normal humans can’t rip other strong humans in half.)
4. Yan (probably the strongest regular human being not named Tiger Niko)
5. Tiger Niko (interchangeable with Yan, but he seems to begrudgingly accept and respect Yan’s strength which says he knows just how strong Yan is.)
6. Kuroki (kind of obvious at this point that he’s the writer’s favourite character, which means he’s rather overstated in the story. He can’t hang with Shen at all, yet he’s written to hurt him. It makes no sense. I choose to base his strength off his ability, not the writing. All the “non-humans” will defeat him, and the Yan/Tiger Niko duo just seem different. However, I won’t mind raising him to 4 above those two. He can’t really hurt a serious Raian or Gilbert. However, he is a near-perfect fighter: defense-first, conservative, decisive, no wasted motion, cerebral.)
7/8/9/10. Kanoh/Lolong/Jurota/Ohma (these four are super-interchangeable and I view them as equal. Kanoh’s usage in the story is not a good representation of his strength. His fight with Jurota was poorly written and he was used to emphasise Jurota’s growth. He did a lot of dumb things in that fight that a fighter of Kanoh’s experience won’t do. In terms of ability, he is extremely well-rounded, like a larger GSP. He’s elite at everything. However, the authors couldn’t afford to give Jurota another L. Lolong is just strong as hell and I think he only lost to Ohma for story purposes. The story needed Ohma to win. Kuroki couldn’t defeat him, and I don’t think Kanoh and Jurota can either. Ohma has reached this level, and I’ll put him on par with these guys. I don’t think he can defeat any of them without the help of plot. However, he’s the second-most well-rounded martial artist in the story behind Kanoh, who is larger and much more experienced. Jurota is the greatest judoka in the story, is a physical monster, and has added striking to his repertoire.)
Honourable mentions:
Joji: Shen seems to sense and respect his strength
Kureshi: the real King of Grapplers
Wakatsuki: his loss to Ohma is the worst fight conclusion in the entire story and most egregious use of plot. He won that fight. Then the story just kinda dumps him.
Setsuna: his showings against Kuroki and then Tiger Niko kind of stamp his abilities.
Wongsawat: he’s a bit like Jurota before his fight with Kanoh; reached the pinnacle of one thing and needs to add other things. The same way Jurota needed to add striking to his judo, he needs to add grappling to his striking.
Good analysis. The worst thing for me is the nerf sandro did to kanoh. He use to exchange strikes using peak pre initiative with kuroki in kenga ashura, their punchs passing through each other like they're ghosts, and now an judor fighter who a time ago not even use punchs someway exchange strikes on the same level as kanoh, this make no fucking sense, kanoh was forced to use formeless because of this.
Edit: About kuroki I disagre, I think he is a perfect example of what hard work and a life dedicated to Mastery the fundamentals of martial arts can do to a human being. I did not think he is helped by The author, all his fights he get injured, some of them very badly, and sandro shows that whay makes him different is not his strenght or sobre human Power/durability, but his experience and mastery of his martial art and the basics concepts of a fight. His short fight with shen one more time showed this to us, in terms of seconds he came up with a strategy to counter shen monstrous Power, nothing he hadn't did before.
@@luizfellipe2500 Yeah, that was just dumb. Ohma noted that Jurota’s striking was amateurish. It should never have bothered Kanoh, whose striking could hang with Wongsawat and like you say, can activate Pre-Initiative.

I think Gilbert is a bit overrated to put him above Kuroki, especially when Shen Wulong made the comment comparing him to Edward. Also Kuroki has legit feats of damaging Shen Wulong while holding back.(Obviously Shen was too)

Having kuroki there is crazy if you ask me, i consider gaoh mukaku stronger than him, shen stating yan could beat gaoh then you have ohma getting pushed around by gaoh but obviously not going 100% but gaoh was fighting both ohma AND retsudo. I don't think kuroki can 1v2 anyone that's ohma level while having a very near equal to partner who he has to worry about, remember ohma said retsudo is the only one who can step between him and raian when they were fighting. My list would have been something like this, the 10-6 was pretty accurate, interchangeable like you said.
