Man, the disrespect on Kanoh vs Sen Hatsumi is mad, this fight is totally one sided, but it doesn't make it one of the worst, in fight we can see how Hatsumi mindgames Kanoh trying to get an attack on him, Kanoh showing dragon shot for the first time, and Hatsumi still holding up after that, it's amazing and I don't think it's one of the worst in the tournament

5. Ohma vs Raian, brutal and immensely difficult for the main character, with the two giving themselves the hardest time of their lives
4. Akoya vs Cosmo, the difference of level and the comeback of Cosmo was awesome
3. Kiryu vs Kuroki, just incredibly choreographied, and the fact that setsuna was beaten so early was great
2. Kuroki vs Kanoh, the two strongest clashing with each other in the demi final
1. Gaolang Wongsawat vs Kanoh Agito, did we really need something more to say
I think not including Waka vs Julius is an oversight.

seki vs muteba was one of my favourites. just the fact that sekibayashi put on facepaint and subbed in his alter ego, using up his substitution because of his dedication to pro westling. perfection
I'd have to agree that Fang vs Gaolang was my favorite, with Wakatsuki vs Julius coming in second. But a lot of your top ten fights could be super interchangeable, I really like this list! So many great fights in Ashura, it really is difficult to rank them all.
Imai Cosmo vs Akoya is a Top 5 fight for me, maybe #1.

Im still in pain by remembering kanoh vs hatsumi. I get it was clear hatsumi will.lose but he deserved to get a few good hits on hanoh.
If Hatsumi took fighting seriously his whole life he would be on par with Fang
Hatsumi only has one shot/finishing moves so he would win instantly if he landed any of them

5 hatsumi vs bando because of the cool shit that happened with bandos arms and hatsumi rolling him with his tight dodges and aikido
4 kiryu vs kuroki someone kicking kiryus ass is a plus also the art and the history behind the fight
3 julius vs wakatsuki was good because it had a different feel from all other fights and was basically a slugfest
2 kuroki vs Kano it showed how op the 2 are it was interesting to see and just got stuff all around
1 ohms vs kuroki the lead up the aftermath the fact that ohma was basically a zombie driven by will and letting go after. Kuroki knowing everything ohma could do and showing yet again that he’s absolutely insane. Also the talk before the fight that gave us more of a story of the niko style. Can’t put my finger on anything more good about the fight I just loved it

No way, honestly thought kuroki vs ohma would at least be top 2. The pure grit on ohma to win in the final wordless panels was fucking awesome and the way he resonated with Yamashita Kazuo was actually heart-wrenching. Gotta say you missed when you put Julius vs Waka above that

For me number one is Waka vs Julius. I like kaiju movies. This fight is something like this and Waka has my favorite attack on Kengan. Blast Core is a very silly name for attack and i love it
Gaolang vs Fang is finally getting animated
The fight between kaolan and the fang of metsudo is my favourite although Kaolan lost the Fight He had Agito on The ropes and this was The first time agito was scared even question if he was worthy of title

Most scary : kiriyu-nikaido
Best comeback : ohma-seki or cosmo-akoya
Impossible to know who's gonna win : saw paing-karo or hanafussa-bando

Hatsumi vs Kanoh occurred that way because it was their rematch. Hatsumi could not get more hits in because those attacks won't work twice. Two high level fighters who met before it would be condensed.

Don’t get why the fight from hatsumi against the fang is so low. Highly tactical we saw hatsumi greatness quite a lot and it was much closer that people give him credit for tbh.

I'm still waiting for season 3
Kiryu vs Kuroki is my personal favorite fight, but I think objectively the best fight was Kuroki vs Kanoh

Hard to rank. So many great fights. But if I had to decide, my top 5 would be:

To me the most decisive factor for wether I love a fight or not isn't just how fast paced it is, it's about how intense the fight was.
To be honest Raian actually brought out the removal when he jumped lihito In the restroom
To be fair kanoh changed his entire fighting setup just for hatsumi

№1 is Kano vs Kuroki, it is more emotional than Kano's fight against Gaolang, it's more technical, epic and, the main reason, both fighters use all of their power and will, while in the Gaolang fight Kano put himself in a bad position on purpose. Once Kano decided to finish the fight - Gaolang fell unconscious. Dragon shot moment >> whole Kano vs Gaolang fight. It's not me hating this fight, it's just shows how epic was the right block finale.
№2 Omha vs Kuroki. These frames are just god tier level.

№4 Waka vs Jul.
№5 Kuroki vs Rei/Kuroki vs Setsuna.

Kanoh’s defeat made no sense at all, the fight needed was so forced it got ridiculous, gensai would never win
You got the no1 spot absolutely wrong. Kanoh vs kuroki was better than gaolang vs kanoh as it was more evenly matched and kept swinging in either direction untill the very end. Ohma raian is also better than gaolang vs fang. As for other no 17 for kaneda vs gaolong is too high as the fight was pretty one sided and no 10 for cosmo vs akoya is low considering how gruelling the fight was.
