    Thanks so much for going through your setup, this really does help. I just built a B74.1 to your base clay setup. Next on the list is a new B6.2d. Keep the videos coming.

      Please turn the volume up... Most your videos I have to watch in a relatively quiet room on max volume... I'd much rather just be able to turn it down if its too loud..

    Hey Spencer. I noticed you using that DJI osmo pocket camera. Do you ever take that to the track with you? If so do you use the tracking features of the camera and how well does that work? I have the gen 1 osmo pocket and was looking to use it as a training tool. Easier than strapping a GoPro to your head.

    What seems to be a good competitive 13.5 T Blinky motor/ESC combo? I’m totally new to SCT and no one on the local Facebook page wants to give me any guidance on what is and isn’t ROAR approved..

    Great video, thank you. My feedback: try swapping the screens; offering the car in the larger, and your face in the upper/smaller. Cheers.

    I would like to know the setups for B6.3D. My local track is very oldschool. Bumpy, dirt, dust, dry clay. Super low grip. Rear motor car works maybe the best. I have a old kyosho rb6 and it seems to handle better than the mid mitor layback B6.3D.

    What are you using to raise the bellcranks? Just ballstud washers?

    • @josephsias1319
      @josephsias1319 Před 3 lety

      I use ball stud washers. Seems to work great. Longer screws too, but not necessary. I think, maybe, not sure, f^ck it, "just drive the danm thing and stop f^cking with it!" as my dad says. P.S. I crash.

    Is this setup sheet available somewhere? I have this car and I’m just learning to drive. I don’t have the front plate in currently. I’ll add that and see if it helps my steering

    • @josephsias1319
      @josephsias1319 Před 3 lety

      Consistency in lap time is the best "Setup up" for new racers.
      If you crash more than once per race then fine tune setup is pointless.
      Run the box stock setup thats in your manual and first learn to drive consistently.
      IMO, but who am I. I just made that up. might work.

    • @josephsias1319
      @josephsias1319 Před 3 lety

    Spencer what ti screw kit are you running?

  • @mgers75
    @mgers75 Před 3 lety +1

    An AE team driver told me that I should take the optional set screw out of my spindle as the car handles better without it and none of the fast guys use it. Do you agree?

    • @josephsias1319
      @josephsias1319 Před 3 lety

      Depends on Driver skill level IMO, Pros are searching for extra steering while new drivers are traction rolling the straights. (I used the screws to limit steering at first) If i drive a "Pros" buggy its usually too fast and twitchy. I learned better on a 15 sec car when the pros are running 12 sec laps.

    Copying someone else’s set up is the rookiest thing you can do. What is fast for one can be total shit for another. Everyone drives different . I’ve never understood guys who get hung up on others’ race set ups🙄
