Since when have iPhones been 'notorious for having really bad battery'?
I don't know.
I moved from Android fo iPhone due to every phone having battery issues on me. On multiple brands.
And the iphone (14 pro max) is the first one where this issue has not occured after more than a year.
If it continues like this, this phone can easily hold on until the 16 comes out.
I've seen it come up quite a bit since the whole iPhone 6s line up with the battery health issues/recall/free replacement. Lot of reports of the 14 pro going
Since the beginning
Always?!?!
thats what am saying idk what he smoking
How’s the input lag? Do they both have different responses?
There is no difference from my experience. Or at least not one that I was able to sense while playing the games. I did get more lag out of the Backbone though, which I rarely experienced from the Portal. I'm not sure if that's because the phone is trying to do too many things at once with background updates going on while gaming since both were on the same wifi
On my portal inpud delay is pretty bad but with ps remote on pixel 8 pro it's smooth as fuck so I prolly just return portal and get backbone instead
Does portal have gyroscope?
I believe that it does, I haven't used it though so I can't speak to how well it works
Using it on IPhone 14 Pro Max battery is good.
That great to hear! It's a nice device for mobile gaming
Who's picking up a PlayStation Portal still over a Backbone?
I'm going to get one when they allow streaming without owning a PS5. I own a PS5., but I don't like that Sony insists that you have to own a PS5. I can stream PS5 games on my PC with my PS+ Premium subscription that is completely unteathered from my PS5, so that feature to should be available for them portal as well.
I got the Backbone for Christmas as well, and like it a lot and it allows me to Play Geforce Now, Micorost 's xCloud, mobile games AS WELL as PS5 remote play. I have a fold 3, with a 7.6" screen, and even though it is letterboxed, it's still a good sized screen, amoled and I can use ANY of my Bluetooth headsets. My only issue with the backbone, is that it's a little too small to really feel secure in my hands. Thinking of getting the GameSir G8 Galileo, but the issue with that, is that it doesn't seem to support PS Remote play, even though it says it does.
Just brought my ps portal the backbone really is just a waste of time you basically have to get another phone especially if people call or text a lot
@@AhmazinSKMwhy pay for something extra when you can just have a accessory for the system and just have the same subscription on the same console
Have you tried the psplay app on google store? More control on how to play ps5 on you phone. Feels beter that the ps remote app
No. Just because it can only stream. If it could do video streaming it would already be more attractive.
i didnt get the backbone cause cheaper i got it because i trade in my portal because it always lag and my upload and download speed is fast asf over 600mb on the 1tb plan
Oh nice! Is the backbone also lagging on the same network as the portal?
@@nerdgrafx nope buttery smooth
@@AmvCrazyimvusame here portal lagging while phone remote play smooth as fuck
@@jesuscervantesj82 i tried both hardwire and no still laggy.my phone had no problem while portal always fps drops
I really don't understand the hate on the PlayStation portal. I mean what type of setup do people have in their house? If you're set up involves the router / modem to be far away from your console simple by Wi-Fi extender with the ethernet port. Then you can hardwire the PlayStation 5 and your connection will improve in my opinion. The backbone is trash because it doesn't have the same or should I say it does not have the haptic feedback the portal offers. Neither the Adaptive triggers. My setup is simple. My console is close to my Netgear Nighthawk. I got good internet connection. The PlayStation portal has never lagged on me and I prefer playing on a bigger screen which is really big even if I had a Galaxy fold device. I would still use my PlayStation portal for streaming games and I will say it again in my opinion the PlayStation portal. It's the better device over the backbone and I have really enjoyed mine so much. I've taxied it a lot playing World of Tanks consoles helldivers FC 24 and Grand Theft Auto V. And personally, I have an experience any lag on it. It's been a wonderful experience.
Так что лучше?
I would go for the Portal for PS Remote Play
