As is undoubtedly the case with millions of others, Joseph Murphy and his book The Power of the Subconscious Mind introduced me to the ideas that slowly turned my thinking around. At the time I first read it, in the early 70's, it was deeply compelling to me, but I couldn't accept the ideas. Now, 40 years later, I've heard these same teachings from hundreds of sources and now teach it myself. Listening to this recording today was really a remarkable kind of DeJaVu experience as I realized what he was saying in 1963 when he wrote his seminal book, is exactly what thousands of teachers are teaching today. His work has changed the world. I am so grateful to his memory.

Funny how researchers, doctors and the like say that they still don't understand why we need sleep or understand why we dream...it seems quite clear here that the purpose of our sleep time is allow our subconscious to create our life here on this realm and reality...hmmmm,🤔
Scientists can't go with "it seems quite clear." The scientific process requires testing. You can "test" things your own way, but science requires rigor.

Dr Murphy had the likes of Troward, Emerson, Holmes. In the end it is said that the word doesn't teach. Experience is the real teacher - to live. Life is trial and error. Feel so blessed to have found Joseph Murphy, I recall my sister having a book of him about 20 years ago or more and i ignored it, what a mistake, for he through his message changed my life and those around me♥️ I had that AHA moment when i stumbled across Neville Goddard this past Dec 23,2019 ! Not true. He’s nothing like Neville. Joseph Murphy is much better and as time grew he became less overly aggressive with the woo hoo unlike Neville. Thats where Neville messed up at.

I've been actively reprogramming my subconscious mind for a loving happy fulfilling life on a daily, And imagined from first person perspective how my reality was going to be, and holy shit!!! Everywhere i go people are smiling and super kind to me, my confidence seduces and impresses others around me like What!!? I feel like a wizard cuz when i imagine something long enough and stay faithful to it, it fucking happens outside of my mind like🤯🤯🤯
@@nshidah5580 change your subconscious programming. i used meditation from utube. observe your thoughts. if they are negative change them. at first it is hard to do so go general. for example. "i am having a bad day" instead try to think "my day is not going well but my day will get better"

Melodic voice ? Strange difference of perceptions between people... I am accustom to read him, and was supprised to find his voice more intellectual than deep. I'm not connecting with his voice at all and prefer to continue to read him...

I think the thing we call the subconscious is more than we think it is.. it's not just an aspect of mind, but a deeper aspect of reality. Fundamental, and to us largely unfathomable. It's the thing we often look for, but don't recognize as such.
I think the subconscious mind is an independent mind, similar to the conscious mind. It is a part of you, but it goes much deeper than that. The subconscious mind, like you said, is a deeper aspect of reality. I think we interact with the subconscious mind everyday without even realizing it. I have met people of the opposite sex who have been pretty much instantly attracted to me, even if they don't even know me. But somehow, they 'know' me, otherwise they would not be drawn to me. I am not handsome by any means, meanwhile these people of the opposite sex are ALWAYS physically attractive, they are 'out of my league'. For a long time, I didn't understand why this happens and why it continually happens over and over again (different people, but they behave very similarly to each other, two of them have done the same exact thing with the intention of telling me through body language that they are into me). I have noticed that this only happens with one person at a time, not with multiple people at the same time. My theory currently is that these individuals are my subconscious mind seeking out to interact with me in the physical realm. That could explain how they 'know' me. I think what we call physical reality is a dream that is shared with the conscious and subconscious mind.
@@chrissemenko628 It's just a theory, but the more I observe people, the more I notice how they behave in ways that are not really in alignment with traits that often are associated with the conscious (rational) mind. People (in general) are irrational, emotional and accept what they're being told as reality, even if what they're being presented with is complete bogus. The subconscious mind is said to accept what is being input to it without questioning it, because it can't reason on its own. This reminds me quite a lot about how the average person acts in his/her day to day life.
These are the same teachings of Ernest Holmes (his contemporary), the author of The Science of Mind!....What a great book....I invite you to check it out!....Take care.
