I remember the segment where Moira Stuart did a news summary on Breakfast With Frost, that's my most memorable part of the programme, and I think that it was similar to the role that she did on BBC's Breakfast News, and I think that these news were from BBC News 24 that she was reading because I remember the 24 number next to her.
Before BBC Breakfast launched in Oct 2000 as a seven day a week programme, the short news summary in Breakfast with Frost was the first news bulletin of a Sunday on BBC One. BBC took a long time to air proper weekend breakfast programming compared to ITV who started in 1983.
Of course, Frost had been doing a Sunday morning show since his work on TV-am from 1983 onward. When TV-am ended in December 1992, he was poached by BBC One and launched Breakfast with Frost in Jan 1993.
Thank you very much for this gem.

Is this pretty much the precursor of the Andrew Marr Show?
