The True Ending of the game... Enjoy.
Below are the differences to the Bad Ending.
Differences to the Bad Ending:
1) Shantae recovers her half-genie side.
2) The Pirate Master is gone for good.
3) Shantae restores Scuttle Town to "needs some work" status AKA the same way it was before the Ammo Baron took over.
4) Friends congratulate her for a job well done.
5) Final scene with Risky.
Key Notes:
- You can only get this ending if you collected all 20 Dark Magic samples from the 20 Cacklebats spread around the world. If you didn't, you get the bad ending of the game instead.
- A shame Risky's fully clothed HD sprite only has one sample.
- By the way, while you do a speed run, there's a sequel for this game. See you there.

Considering that Mayor Scuttlebutt is shown to be both incredibly incompetent and a douche, she should have kept the town in Ammo Barons hands. He would have been a much better boss. Ammo Baron certainly invested a lot in its defenses.
Did you forgot that Ammo Baron tried to take down Sequin Land Palace with a powerful cannon?

didn't really care how tough this boss was, you get stocked up on such much money and items that you can cheese this fight by using super monster milk + super pike ball + bubble shield for every phase. I still enjoy the game, but these items just break the fights. When you get to the part where the captain takes your pirate gear away. I was just,
"good for you, I'm still just kicking your butt with pike balls and hair whips."
Healing potions and food is also broken, you can just tank all the damage.

By collecting all the dark magic from the cacklebats, which turned into light magic once it was all collected.
So sad i didn't get this ending because i didn't want to look for all the dark magic :c .

Because there a whole SLEW of half-genies left. It's specifically in the lore of the first game...

ES21007 As mentioned a few times during the plot, all of the genies - and her mother included - sacrificed themselves to seal the Pirate King away. Shantae is the only genie left. Well, half-genie.

She's not the only half-genie left.
In the manual of the first game, it states that Genies mated with mortal spouses before they left, giving birth to half-genies, all of which were female. These half-genies then went out to guard different towns. Hell, Risky even fools Shantae into giving up one of the elemental stones in the first game by disguising herself as Mount Point's Guardian Half-Genie, something which Shantae herself readily accepts.
One of the plot points of the next game, apparently, is that Shantae gets fired (Just like the second game) and replaced by another half-genie.
+ES21007 Just wondering when did it say that Shantaes magic was the only magic left in the world? Cause I remember playing the first game and I remember that we never actually got to see any actual guardian genies besides the ones Shantae rescued and even they went back to the genie realm after the game.
Techinally, the manual said that there were very few half-genies in her world left and they were scattered all over the world or at least Sequin Land and usually never saw each other due to the distance. The reason why the Pirate Master could only grab Shantae's Magic was due to the fact that *spoiler alert starting here* at the end of Risky's Revenge, Risky used the Magic Lamp to separate Shantae's Magic from her body and made it form Nega-Shantae. Once Shantae defeated the manifestation of her magic it scattered all over the place giving the Pirate Master a chance to grab it for himself. He couldn't grab any other source of magic was because they were all attached to other half-genies so if he wanted more he would need the lamp.
+ES21007 guessing it would mean stealing the magic from one of tyhose genies.
i need help idk if its part of the game but after defeating masterskull and seeing the true ending it repeats the game to my last save point which is the battle before masterskull does anyone know y this happens?????

The true final boss is sooo bad, you can't deny it. Especially the 4th phase.
It balances out how terribly tame the previous phases were.

Ok this makes no sense shantae lost all her genie powers so she should not be able to grant a wish
