      If Kimi didn't wear his tyres trying cover Lewis after his early pitstop, overtaking Bottas would be no problem. Kimi lost because of his early pitstop. The early pitstop was partly his own doing, because once again he could not achieve to create a gap to Lewis. He is just not fast enough. For me giving Leclerc the Ferrari seat is a mistake this soon (if Ferrari decide to go that route which i hope they dont as this season has proven that kimi is consistent if anything else) all his retirements this season (3) have all been down to car problems,botched pitstops or someone hitting him...etc...Leclerc is quick and should be in line for the seat but i would say he needs some more experience before he jumps up to the higher level...iron out his mistakes etc...Kimi deserves till 2019 at least cos if Italy proved anything he still has some fight in him.

    • @diazzsama
      @diazzsama Před 5 lety +19

      It's vettel's fault he hit hamilton and spun, kimi as the only ferrari fell into mercedes trap. If both ferraris were still in the front, it wouldn't happen. Kimi still wouldn't win tho, ferrari most likely just are just gonna tell him to give vettel the win.

    • @bobhandson
      @bobhandson Před 5 lety +4

      Bastian Arcbast yeah, don't get why Ferrari pitted him so early. The rear left tire really fucked him over. If it wasn't for that tire, he would've gotten past Bottas before he could even stop Kimi and would've never let Hamilton through.

    • @R1XTO
      @R1XTO Před 5 lety +4

      Aljoscha Kirschner if kimi didnt pit, hamilton will pit on that lap, and hamilton will do the undercut

    • @coolL9457
      @coolL9457 Před 5 lety +6

      as much as I love Kimi, I could tell you guys are no real fans because you don't understand how the sport works in so many levels its a bit embarrassing. Ultimately, even if you are salty about Mercedes strategy with Bottas (100% legal, and Ferrari have done this tactic far more times than Merc has race entries since 2010) Raikonnen was never going to win. If you had the competence to see his pace in the last few laps, he was falling off dramatically from the pace. Ferrari do not have a crystal ball (or relevant data for the tire from practice) to know where the cliff on the compound was at that stage in the GP. even if he was still ahead of Hamilton up until the closing stages of the race he would have had to keep pushing to keep him behind (much like he had to push to try catch back up) and would of had the same loss of time at the end costing him the win anyway. Honestly some f1 'fans' are so fucking clueless it pisses me off when they comment pure autism.
