Not comparing myself to kurt in any way but the same thing happened when I broke my arm. Humorous cracked clean through playing football. All of our weight lifting and conditioning is the only reason I didn't need surgery. Muscle kept it in place. But Kurt Angle was just absolutely insane. Thank God he was such a God. He could've seriously been paralyzed or even killed

@@DGEPBI had a similar situation from when I was younger...I was very built from weight lifting and didn’t feel any pain. 6 years later and even till now it hurts doing basic movements. Sucks ass

Its common name procaine may be related to cocaine but it is listed as a anesthetic not a stimulant

I crushed my C5 when I hit my head diving into a pool when I was 17. Walked around for 3 days complaining of a stiff neck & my right hand was in excruciating pain. Even tried cracking my neck to loosen it up, it was so stiff & achey. Finally went to the ER for my hand & was informed that I had a severe spinal injury, the hospital didn't have the facilities to treat me, & I had to be transported to a bigger hospital IMMEDIATELY. My 3rd day in the hospital I was told that after the swelling went down my spinal cord would be compromised & I'd never walk again. I'd only be able to shrug my shoulders.
7 days later I walked out of the hospital under my own power, wearing a phillidelphia collar for the next 4 months. That was 26 years ago. Every once in a while I have a panic attack from being overwhelmed by the fact I didn't die or live the rest of my life in a chair.
I share this story because I feel incredibly lucky.
Also, I didn't fucking wrestle in the Olympics after!

You should never crack your neck, it is severely dangerous as your neck is not meant for over stretch or twisting motions that people do.
Which in this case with a spinal trauma from a dive in the pool, probably made it worse.

I can similarly relate to the situation of the of the neck muscles of the cervical spine me very important. Suffered a similar injury in the military because of my neck muscles and my trapezius muscles I was still am alive. Injury I suffered in my third deployment.

Yep. I've got 2 artificial disc replacements in my neck. c5-c6 and c6-c7 I can't exactly explain how cervical radicular, and myelopathic pain feels, but it's terrible.
I’ve herniated my C5-C6 discs a couple months ago and it is THE WORST pain I’ve been in so far.
@@kahopukehau Take it easy. You get one or two "freebies" with discs. It *may* rehydrate and come back off your nerve roots if you allow it to heal. Or it may not and you'll need a disc replacement or fusion. I recommend a mobi-c disc replacement if you need surgery. Good luck.
Man I injured just a plexus on a vertebrae and the constant nagging dull pain and numbness at same time it creates is so debilitating and mentally and physically. I’ve broken prolly close to a dozen bones and still I’d rather have a broken bone than nerve or back pain. Still gets super sore from time to time always trying to do physical therapy. Hope you guys can find relief from your back pain.

Imagine being the guys Kurt wrestled after the neck broken in the Olympics and finding out he had a broken neck. That’d kill my ego and make me quit💀
I don't think any of those guys should or would be ashamed to learn this. Kurt showed an uncanny level of will and perseverance. Not to mention he was an incredibly skilled wrestler. He deserved to win. None of those competitors would have let an injury stop them. I'm willing to bet that most of them weren't at 100% by the finals.
