That is a great addition. I like how you can just use the handle on the front to reposition it. Perhaps even just putting it almost "closed" but not quite would be best. It must really help to heat up the cooking surface. It was surprising to see how much it affected the flame and smoke as well... much more of an effect than I expected.

За идею однозначно! 👍Я делал почти такую же, только внутренний лист был приварен и труба была на другой стороне, у дверцы. Я её делал их 4х штук 27го швеллера, длинной 700mm. Греет очень хорошо, между трубой и кружком 6mm швеллер нагревался до красна.
Я тоже развернул трубу к загрузке печь малиновая и зуб отбойник.печь щестигранная минисота самодельная.а раньше труба была малиновая
That way should work better than what we see in the video above, because the air intake will not be disturbed by the hot gases looking to escape the lower firebox under the damper - I tested such a serup on a titanium foldable stove and it works wonderfully, because one can put the top panel in reverse, so that the smoke outlet is on the same side of the stove as the air intake (stpve door) - the fresh air enters without being inpeded by the hot gases trying to escape, as in the above setup on a stove where the top plate cannot be removed (and put in reverse).

Do you consider to put a air pipe between the top and metal board for secondary burn? it might make this design more efficient.

네이처하이크 화목난로에 덧대보려는데 만드신건 배기 힘(?)이 강해야겠죠? 그냥 아무것도 없어도 불이 잘 꺼지거든요 ㅜㅜ 그래서 저 정도로 막으면 제껀 바로 꺼질거 같은데.. 좀 작게 만들면 되려나요..

화목 난로 구매 하려고 하는데 궁금한 부분이 있어서 문이 드려보겠습니다
주물이 아닌 거로 알고 있는데 열애 의한 변형은 없는지요?
캠핑용 스테인리스강 재질의 화목난로들은 사용상 지장이 없을 정도의 변형은 어느 정도 있습니다. 이 화목난로의 경우 상판 뚜껑과 연통사이에 볼록하게 솟아오르는 경향이 있습니다.

연통 댐퍼조절 이랑 차이점이 있나요?
불길을 앞쪽으로 우회하여 상판에 열기를 좀 더 집중시키는 효과가 있습니다. ^^
열기지연판에 방열통까지 업시키면 얼마나 따뜻할지 상상만해도 즐겁네요. 역시 멋지셔요.
티피에서는 아주 후끈할것 같아요. 방열통도 좋지만 개인적으로 열기지연판이 더 마음에 드네요. ^^ 감사합니다.

I'm confused, by sliding the dampener to the back, you get more smoke. Which means a more ineffecient burn (and more air pollution for your surrounding). Wouldn't you want to always have an efficient (smokeless) burn? Can't you have the same dampener, but only acting as a dampener of the cooking hole, but leaving the chimney free?

I don't think it's an efficient burn just because the stove produces less smoke. Because of the structure of this firewood stove, the heat escapes directly to the chimney. Even if it is more helpful for burning. Closing the damper installed in the chimney, of course, generates more smoke. Filled with soot and trapped inside. In this case, the heat delivered to the top of the stove is insufficient. So, I devised the role of the damper so that the heat can be moved to the front of the stove and then flowed to the top so that the top of the stove can be heated more evenly so that the heat can be used for cooking or heating. Hope you understand. Thank you.
In theory it sounds OK, but your own test shows in the video incomplete burning (black smoke) when the gases are forced to follow the detour of your add-on damper, but clear or invisible exhaust when the smoke is allowed to rush to direct exit in the pipe.
I did the same addition to my stove (damper albeit not foldable but in 2 partially overlapping pieces, joined by one screw on my « nomad »), but i am still to test it. Not sure anymore that it will work as intended . . .
That's right. You observed it well. I just wanted to delay the burn rate so it wasn't too fast and divert the fire flow forward to transfer more heat to the top plate. Good luck with your tests.
I am thinking to create one as well, and if we can add a pipe to redirect the air to up front the stove then I should have a secondary burn when you put the damper in back of stove right?

There are already dampers in the chimney. However, it only slows the combustion inside the fire box, and it is not enough to maximize the heat transmitted to the top plate. So I put a damper inside the stove to bypass the heat. Thanks!

열기지연판에 사용된 철판은 어떤 재질인가요??
자투리 304 스테인리스강판이 있어서 그걸로 제작했습니다. 제작하실경우 열기지연판 길이를 5센치 정도 짧게 제작해보시기 바랍니다. 현재는 열기지연이 과한듯 합니다
열기지연이 과할경우 안전상의 문제 외에 다른 문제가 있을지요?
저는 필요시 난로 뚜껑쪽으로 열을 집중시키기 위해서 열기지연판을 제작해보았습니다. 만약 열기지연이 과할경우 화력저하로 연기가 다량 발생하고 목초액이 다량 생길 수 있습니다. 따라서 평소 열기지연 없이 시원하게 태우시되 너무 많은 장작을 한번에 태워서 연통이 과열되는 것은 지양하시길 바랍니다 ^^
열기지연판이 없다보니 난로위에 무엇을 올려 음식해먹기엔 열전도가 낮은지 물도 끓는데도 오래걸리더라구요
그래서 열기지연판을 똑같은 방식으로 만들어 보려 하는 거거든요 ㅎㅎㅎ조언 감사합니다~!
네 연통으로 열기가 대부분 흘러나가서 그렇습니다. 난로 길이 절반만큼만 막으시면 상당향 열을 앞쪽으로 이동시킬 수 있을겁니다. 재미나게 만들어보시기 바랍니다
