WOW. I love miniatures and have considered trying a backscreen like the old movie matte paintings to add depth. Your channel is incredible. Miniatures are FAR more immersive than online viewing tables [even in person]; though I also use background music and sound effect apps to add to the tale. I MISS playing.

A back screen is great to quickly add depth to the scene. I would miss playing too if I couldn't do it. I tried online play during lockdown but it's about the friends around the table for me.

Definitely. I was thinking a curved "stadium" bowl style end, even projected with a curved monitor and powerpoint-style backdrops between transitions. So, we could focus on the "other side" of the table with movement and then the narrator/GM via mechanics. I think to surround the whole table would be a ridiculously complicated endeavor: like using Mandalorian effects.
That said, NOTHING beats the "tangible" figurines and physical elements, to me. Your work always amazes me. But, I agree, the best elements are the friends and family who share the experience.

Fun fact: There's actually a town named Curitiba, in Brazil. Lots of RPG players there! ✌️

You only have a pig and one sheep? Your other sheep have run amok! You need a brave adventurer to find them and bring them back!

What Race/Class does the cat play Kev? the blind guy is heading towards horse offerings better watch himself! Kev its Captain... Captain Jack Sparrow savy? Excellent stuff! I don't use miniatures in my games but I do want to construct my own inn using the Hirst Arts stuff. Need to get some at some point.

He plays a pest. Special class just for cats haha. I always dreamed of playing like this but it's really only for key scenes of this scale then it's the odd dungeon tiles just to set a mood. You should definitely do a hirst arts tavern, I would love to see that

@@TheBattlinBarrowGaming Ah I see! My cat tried his paws at playing a hex and counter game but wound up cheating and pushing the counters all over the place so he is banned from playing. I've been saying for a number of years now that I want to do a Hirst Arts Inn but alas have not taken the plunge. I do feel like I will shortly and then kick my self for not having done so earlier!
