  • Denver Fire Station 8's new apparatus responding to calls:
    Engine 8 - 2018 Pierce Velocity to an elevator rescue
    Truck 8 - 2017 Pierce Velocity (105' rear mount) to a medical call
    Engine 8 and Truck 8 were both replaced a few months ago. Station 8 in the Capitol Hill neighborhood is the busiest fire hall throughout the City of Denver, Colorado. It houses the busiest Engine Company (E8 with approx. 6,000 calls per year) and the second busiest Truck Company (T8 with about 3,400 calls per year). The busiest Truck Company is the neighboring Truck 4 with incredible 6,800 calls per year. This makes it the busiest Truck Company in the entire US (source: cdn.firehouse.com/files/base/...)

    Like someone said pretty trucks but they were not crazy about the mirrors, my is the same statement for the trucks but for me it’s not the mirrors it’s those chrome bumpers, heck i think those are of yesteryears and its all about the painted bumpers even with the chevrons on the front are just beautiful to see on today’s apparatus. Yes, that was Truck 19 back on it’s way home. The funny thing was: Every rig in Denver is able to open the doors of every station (for fill-ins etc.). So, when T19 passed the station, its crew were kidding those from station 8 as they opened the door of T8 - and in the same moment, the call for Truck 8 came in. I was inside the hall too, when that happened. Funny situation 😆

      @Firescue112  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey there! Yes, just the Engine companies run with water tanks (I think only Truck 2 has a tank & pump). No, we are not Denver Fire. If you have a look at our channel you'll find lots of emergency response videos from different US-states, Canada & mostly Europe :)

    Das soll jetzt kein Hate sein oder so, aber die Dinger sehen nicht aus, als wären sie Baujahr 2017/18. Eher wie aus den Siebzigerjahren. Ich weiß, is halt sowas wie Tradition in den USA aber mir gefallen Amerkianische Fire Trucks/Engines überhaupt nicht.

      Ich finde das sehr interessant, dass viele deutsche so denken. Vermutlich muss man sich erstmal intensiv mit der Materie befassen, um auch hier klar erkennen zu können, was neu und was alt ist bzw. so aussieht. Mir ging es vor 5 Jahren noch ähnlich, bis ich mich ernsthaft für die „Ami-Technik“ interessiert habe. Und dann erwartete mich ein ganz anderer Kosmos, was ganz anderes als in Europa. Daher kann ich behaupten, dass mir die Fahrzeuge beiderseits des Atlantiks gut gefallen ☺️
