SEGA REALLY SAID TO US LET HIM COOK AND KELLIN COOKED!
I'll say this is the real quality
Cook doesn't even begin to cover it, but as far as i know, there isn't a word in the english dictionary to describe something beyond cooking!
The third DLC felt like a fangame to me. Not in a bad way or that it was unpolished. But that it felt like it was made by people who had a genuine love and passion for this series. Especially with the new super form. The way he crosses his arms when confronting The End and just smacks away projectiles feels straight out of a fan project, like Nazo or SMBZ. I didn't think something official like this would ever come from this series. I'm so happy I'm wrong, love this game. :)
Because sonic team has tons of passion for sonic :) but sega don't let them redeem it
@@niv6921 This time they did.
@@niv6921 I'm glad someone said this, it is so damn true man. It is mainly SEGA holding them back, no doubt in my mind that Sonic Team could cook if given the time and resources, plus not having someone who breathes down their neck.
"This shell was once my prison.
Now it shall be the avatar of my return.
All shall perish. All shall return to order.
*To oblivion.* "

Not Only this made Frontiers a Thousand Times, it revivalized why I love the Sonic Franchises in the First Place, this didn’t felt like the People of the 2010s that didn’t know about the Series and made it a Goofy Approach, it felt like the Fans that made this Game that Understood the Lore, Passion, and Love, it gives the Fans a New Direction and Future we are looking forward to seeing more of It.
11:04 The "wooaah" in the background, just straight up give me goosebumps. It sometimes makes me emotional hearing it, its so good. This new version of "I'm Here" is way better.
Mhm
I think they're both good. The arrangement of the new one is better but I much prefer Kirk-Holmes' vocal performance over Quinn's for this particular song.

Theory : snapcube predicted frontiers?...
Something about this ending hit differently
I love when the I'm here gets really distorted and twisted then the end just goes "All shall return to order... to oblivion" Then surpreme starts banging his head and going feral. I was playing on a soundbar so all the volume was maximum clarity even the head thumping, it just felt like a horror film and then as soon as eggman picked up the gun I had the biggest grin on my face.
"Man that last titan was anticlimactic as was the boss..."

1:07 seeing *THE END* and this playing was crazy especially since this final boss is my favourite since dark gaia I find it hard to believe this is an official Sonic game
8:56 The End "I am inevitable! I cannot be denied!" dialogue could have fit at this part

I am happy that not only they revamped the final boss for the final update of Frontiers but they give us two versions of I'm here that are more epic than the og version!
Okay this picture looks similar to avengers endgame
Damn was I late in the launch of this but I'm glad I pulled a. All nighter to experience the master piece of a DLC even if I suffered (fully hard mode)
10:13 Dr. Eggman: “Sonic, it’s now or never!”
Super Sonic 2💎: “Sorry, Master King. Looks like I’m going all-out after all. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”
The orchestral version is the same taste as Solaris Phase 2, Perfect Dark Gaia and Nega Wisp Armor final battles
This song is so beautiful and touching!
And as a added bonus no one died
UPDATE: IT IS DONE! I HAVE BEATEN UPDATE 3 ON EXTREME! No glitches used in the Master King trial either! Took 60 hours for that alone! Expect a video soon!
I'm going to SAVOR hearing these when I revisit the update on Extreme.
So much hard work, pain, sweat, tears, but it will be worth it to experience one of the most epic finales in video gaming history!
Not to mention one of the most grueling experiences too!
The part where Supreme changes to the The End 😩😩😭
Awesome Video!
As much as I really had a blast with the final boss of this update, I think they could've done more in the climax. Here's my take. Throughout the entire fight, they could have The End's voice dialogues from the main story in hard mode incorporated into this fight. There could be in-game dialogues like conversations between characters like in previous games, and when the battle reaches it's end, Sonic could've said a restatement of the powerful statement main story's The End boss like this.
Sonic: You... You used me from the start! You took away their home! You took their lives!! You took everything!!!! Yeah, death comes for us all as the natural part of life, but I don't believe for one second that you're it!!! You're not going to take anything from anyone for granted ever again!! I'll never let that happen!!! THIS IS YOUR LAST FRONTIER!! NOW, YOU FACE YOUR END!!!
Like in the cutscene, Sonic goes all out with the cyber-corruption-turned-power and Eggman uses the rifle and fires Sonic out. However, this time, it's an interactive sequence. There would be a power gauge somewhere on the screen as the player controls the rifle trying to aim at the last Titan in front of The End. In a sense, the player would control Eggman at that point. The player would have to perfect the targeting sequence by moving the left and right analog sticks before the gauge overflows too much. If it does so, then there would be a cutscene that shows the rifle being blown up thus failing the fight. If the gauge hits at max, then the player would push the boost trigger to fire like in shooter games which would be a clever nod. After Sonic is shout out and goes hypersonic overdrive completely making the Titan poof out of existence, The End would use its ultimate world-ending laser attack. That would be when the final action button-spamming occurs. Cyber Sonic would charge against the blast, and the player would have five seconds to complete the button spamming sequence before the ring count completely drops to zero. If the player fails, then there would be an in-game cutscene that shows Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sage, and Eggman being consumed by the blast as their shadows cast within show them being shattered and disintegrated along with the entire planet being blown up into pieces! After that happens, The End's final parting words would be, "At last...The End...". What an extremely nightmarish and traumatically scarring thing to go through if the player fails. If the player succeeds, then it would be just as satisfying as the finisher cutscene goes. Sonic would push back the laser all the way and burst through The End causing it to blow up, and the final alternate ending cutscene would then initiate. If the player goes through those consequential scenes and try again to succeed, then the player would have that gratifying feeling that they just saved the entire planet from total annihilation. Compared to Sonic Unleashed, that would be the most epic thing in the entire Sonic videogame franchise. That's just my personal opinion. What do you think?
Maybe cut "this is your last frontier" for being a little too corny, but this is great. More dialogue would've made this fight perfect
I love this scenario, but I would add something to it. After you beat Supreme, you actually fight The End, where it gives us its dialogue. Once you damage The End enough times, it will crash down to Earth in the ocean right next to the island. Then, as soon as you are celebrating, thinking that you won; The End will slowly rise from the ocean and then take control of Supreme as a desperation attempt. Then we will play the final boss that we got. The only difference now is that before Sonic kicks Supreme into the upper atmosphere, Sonic makes a giant cyloop around The End, causing a moon sized tornado to push The End back into space. Then, Sonic will kick Supreme, and the rest of the ending will play out like what you said.
“This is your last frontier” 💀
Overall I do like your idea tho.
@@Josbird How about no lol
If "THIS IS YOUR LAST FRONTIER" was an actual quote from the game, it would be memed to absolute death 💀

Getting to the boss itself was pure hell, but it was worth it!
I really love the sonic X reference in this final boss
Eggman: Sonic! It's now or never!

This is my favorite BGM! I like this part most 3:03
I wish I could hear this in game, but the boss rush actually started to give me anger issues, then I was recommended to get rid of the game.
More recommended change the difficult to easy on the last trial for having a better window for parries, after beating the trial return it to hard to finish the experience
@@cristobalgonzalez324 tbh I forgot about this comment. I did beat them in the end and wyvern still does suck because if the janky model logic (like when the claw is super far away yet thats when your supposed to parry it), but in the end the trials were actually harder than the final boss by a long shot, which actually disappointed me.
@@EventideLight I'll give you that, but I enjoyed Final Horizon even if it was a PAIN climbing the tower alongside with the trials

If only the boss itself didn’t suck so much. TREES
To me the boss is something that’s so good but is held back by a few things. trees, camera angles being weird at times, and lack of instructions.
