Today we play as Benny Beaver in Dungeon Clawler with the focus on having a Fluff build - but not just Fluff as additional weapon, but Fluff as ONLY weapon, meaning we remove anything else except for utility that improves the Fluff, and a few shields to keep our Barricade alive, as it belongs to the strategy. What started as a gimmicky run quickly turned into some unexpected success.

Sorry to everyone who would've wanted me to "exit scam" and continue. I know it can be done and I actually did it because I said I'll play further and see how long the run would last, but just a few fights in I already lost all the joy and it became impossible to narrate anything, it just removes the fun for me to know I could simply re-do every fight. It's also the same reason why I reset runs fully instead of just 1 particular outcome (like only perks), to me it feels like I didn't earn it. NOTE because some people take this statement personally, I don't care what you or anyone else does. This is just a personal thing for myself.

"Max items per round" and "Fluff count" are totally independent, meaning if you have only 20 max item and 100 fluff the game will drop 100 fluff and 20 items

@@militsa7214 _*achtually_ they can. Afterall, both stats exists in the same game which makes them related. Having those stats separated to different games would make them less related. Having those games made by different developers even more less. Having one of the stats to be a movie stat or something instead of statistics about the game mechanics would make them even more more less related.
BTW, I don't know how superlatives work but is still think I _*achtualled_ pretty good there. ;P
Fluff has so much much potential. This challenge deserves a second try!

14:37 for any one who wonders, in Germany most of the stores are closed in Sunday, that's why Dex used as an explanation that is Saturday meaning he cant do the shopping the next day

@@simsom4343 nah, in the UK at least our big super market chains will be open on Sundays. afterall not everyone can go on a Saturday, such as factory workers doing 4-on-4-off shifts so you could end up with your first day off being on a Sunday when you need to restock your cupboards. used to be that Sunday was only open for like 6 hours though, so they had time to restrock themselves, but now they're no longer 24 hours and always closed midnight to 6am (which must piss off the night shift)

Of course, we do have some smaller stores that _can_ be open on Sundays, but there are specific rules that they have to be _small_ stores or small portions of stores
I assume that people can just go to the store once a week to get all the groceries and stuff you need for daily life, so I don't entirely see any particular point in having big stores open on Sundays...

The strategy with Fluffy is magma early, poison late, because strength scales linearly but poison can be multiplied infinitely. So grab some x3 poison flasks and poison bath bombs and let the fluffiness go infinite. Strength fails eventually. Gold daggers will reach a limit, but the worst poison can do is roll over the poison integer limit. Then you can swap back to gold daggers or something when that looks like a threat.

Yeah, but to heal damage, you first have to take it. And if the dam blocks all damage he will never get hurt, so what effect does the healing have? I guess that is why he called it useless.

Is there a cap on the weakling reward, or can you decrease enemy hp by 100% if you get 4 of those? I know the Golden armor one (increases your hp by your gold) can stack repeatedly

Just wanted to tell you that backing and joining the floor you're on will change the enemy and you can avoid them and you can also save your run more often :)
25:20 I mean... they aren't being inconsistent there. It's fluff > poison > strength > hoarder. Hoarder isn't more fluff, it just means you get the extra fluff turn 1 instead of turn 2.
Anything up against fluff and you take fluff. But when offered strength and hoarder, the strength is better.
All the fluff does get added in the first round anyways. It doesn’t depend on hoarder how much fluff you get. He didn’t know that during the run, but fluff is independent from the item capacity.

You'd think the lava fluff would give "burning" damage over time, much like poison.
Have you tried a run getting one of every item?
No plan, no theme, just aiming to get one of each item in the pool
one spike, one shield, one spike shield, one holy shield, one credit card, one heling potion, one magnet, one dagger, etc, etc
I don't know about item-pool limits, but if possible, what about a regular, and an upgrades version of everything?
imo another way to make it better would be to have bath bombs actually work as bath bombs, i.e. automatically transform when they're in water.
Alternate suggestion: fix the normal magnet and add in a Haywire Magnet that does the same thing

Hmm, thinking about it... _Technically_ the hoarder not affecting fluff count should actually have been obvious from the start if you think about it
You start the game with 30 fluff count, but only 20 max items, you still get all the fluff turn 1 regardless

What this game needs is a trinket that makes it that Fluff that is transformed retains Fluffs properties like 50% of the fluff after turned to gold floats and does burn or poison and a second trinket would make it 100%, just imagine gold coins that not only give gold but also attack
Can you try again with the 100% price reduction and critical chance too? That way, you can search more for the things you need for a more successful run. "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!"

I am sorry, but I am very triggered as a viewer since +1 poison is a total of +1 strength but delayed. Ofc this can be multiplied by your current poison flasks, but those are single use while a +3 strength is the same as the poison while using triple on each of those attacks... Ofc strength is better
If you hit once with 3 strength, you do +3 damage. if you hit once with 1 poison, you do +1 damage.
if you hit three times with 3 strength, you do +9 damage. if you hit three times with 3 poison, you do +6 damage (over three turns).
if you hit five times with 3 strength, you do +15 damage. with poison, you do +15, over five turns.
in a long fight where you hit at least twice a turn, poison is always better.
(in short fights strength is way stronger)
