Incubus-influenced but still very Band-Maid-executed... obviously harder to integrate with what you've seen so far... maybe until you hear that solo, and just smile!
If you want to try another lighter one that's more them, try Daydreaming. My favorite Band-Maid "ballad." Along with all of their other ballads.

When there are live and mv versions of a song, it’s generally better to do Live (not always) and some reactors have done both versions in a single video, provides good comparisons.
Bestie, in the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Daydreaming, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile, was co-written by Michael Einziger of Incubus. MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song and beautiful MV! And Miku’s English lyrics are heartfelt. This is the same reaction that I had when I heard the song. I'm a mega madiac and I didn't really know what I thought. I've also been a madiac long enough to know that you never try to judge one of their songs on the first or even 10th listen. Eventually I almost always come to love their songs.

I recommend the MV for Different since it is basically just them playing, and the Live is 2 songs (Dice and Different) from a streamed concert so no audience.
They have another 2fer Manners and Black Hole. Manners has an MV and I like it, but I prefer the mixing on the Live version. Black Hole does not have an MV. If you want to figure out which genre Band-Maid really is the you should see/hear the Manners/Black Hole video.
