If you tap the brakes a couple times and let the tailgate hit after you dump , it will usually jar 99% of the dirt out
Just be careful your hoist isn’t topped out because the jarring will cause the telescope to smash tight against the top collar and it’ll hurt the packing seal
Glad you said it.
And the award for MOST JAKE BRAKE PER MILE goes to........... Gentry & Son's!!👏👏👏👏
Your boy will remember days like this for the rest of his life
I was driving a lot of Ford's in gravel truck, started in a 72' Louisville tandem dump with a twin stick 5 & 4. Remember those...lol!
Tim I’m just being a Dad here but I recommend having Brax shut the door and buckle up when dumping a big load like that. If the hoist snaps or the load breaks loose on one side and not the other it can cause the truck to turn over. I know I know there will be naysayers but growing up around dump trucks I’ve seen it happen. Always expect the unexpected and be safe bud. 👍👍
The smile on Braxton's face the first time you hit the jakes with the straight pipe was priceless... probably almost as big as the smile on mine.
You are a blessing to your community and beyond. Great role model for families. Thanks for all you do with your son and dad. Employees too.
My favorite part of your self is the fact that you love turnin up the big motors. Also air ride and lower
Love your son he is happy to be with dad in help Kids today don't want to help their parents I love the fact that your son's right beside you I have 3 boys they are all grown but I love watching your son just help dad and be happy. He's taking one out of dad's book be happy Thank you for your videos I watched them and softened as I can can can't wait for new videos
You can haul the skid steer on your dump truck get a load of dirt go to a site unhook the trailer and skid steer. And dump the dirt and use the skid steer to smooth the dirt out. Charge for the load and use of the skid steer. That is what a man did for the berm we had built for a house. It worked out great.
Ha ha yeah buddy the music of our people them pipes sound like a machine gun love it hammer down driver god bless
Semi Casual can help you out with lowering it Tim. They have a channel on here if you don't already know that. They can do it for ya or at least point in the right direction 💪😎👍
Yea rebuild that mane truck
@BANDIT Grizzy, check out the video dec. 2020, Brax and Tim go to Fitzgerald and test drive a few trucks with Semi Casual's Brian and Tommy.
@@darenfernandes8102 ok 👍 wasn't sure if Tim knew about them. But it's a good reminder then. ✌😎👍
I love how the jakes bark when you shift with them on 😎
Better than any TV show I’ve ever watched. Thank you, Timmy, Brax, and family for making some of the best content on CZcams
DITTO
13:32, YEPPERS! It sounds much gooder now!
That ole girl is barking after the upgrade!
The excavator and a skid steer would be the best combo and trade the high lift !!! And definitely would be cool with front air ride and a lift bumper
Do not buy a skid steer and a mulching head to do clearing. It will last you one year and you will be buying it again. They don’t last your excavator with last a lot longer for clearing you need it for stumps. You will regret it I do this everyday. Excavator, dump truck, and your high lift is everything you need. Your stuff is big that’s what makes the money don’t go smaller. Try to stay away from clearing anyway stick with dirt work. My opinion love your channel.
All that space between the big pile and truck.. back up kinda hard and hit the brakes and it will flip most anything still in the box. Tim, you got more trucks than you know what to do with for the moment so trade a truck towards a skid steer. Deals like the excavator are long and few between. I am certain someone is needing a truck an you ain't never gonna get another excavator as good or as big as this is. Long run, that excavator will get you some big money jobs
Tim’s neighbors gotta love him when he comes thru with a truck. It’s better than a rooster in the morning instead you get a Tim jaking.
To funny but I'd love it every morning
I accept that
I had a skid steer service back in the day. I stayed busy cleaning tanks out with it. I used it at home on a daily basis. So much that a skid steer helps with. I think smarter instead of working harder.
Man it’s cool as all hell that you and your boy can hangout all day man! I miss the days I could do that with my old man. These are the times y’all gonna remember for life! Keep up the awesome Vids man thanks for being a real person through and through. ! God bless yall
u were right, everyone has there thing, cleetus turns up cars, u turn up big trucks, & i just built a big truck.. its a 2014 Ram with a 12 inch lift & 40x15.50x20 inch tires..we all got to have something to keep us out of trouble.. i been watching u channel since u & Braxton to Florida, i think it was and picked up the light blue cab over.. so yeah alittle while now. u & ur family are awesome..
That was bruce wilsons cabover blue collar he picked up. Hes got a really good channel as well about trucking and the tractor shop he owns.
boy i bet your neighbors gonna love you and them jake brakes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That jaybreak is the most beautifull sound ever made in the world I could listen to the jaybreak sound every day and it would never get old of hearing it
I hope to be a business owner like you someday you’re one of the hardest working out there and don’t complain when things don’t go your way and I like what you and your family stand for. You don’t see to many little boys out there wanting to lean how to work or working with they’re hands anymore without complaining. Much respect to you and your family hope all works out with how this worlds coming.
@
Chris, SO TRUE, NEED MORE!!!!!!!!!!! ALOT MORE LIKE BRAXTON!!!!!!!!!!! AND TIM!!!!!!!!!
You and Brax should build a mini Pete for him!! That’d be so awesome!! Take an old pickup truck and strip it down to frame and motor then build him a little badass rig!!
You , Braxton , Devon and your Dad are awesome, such hardworking and dedicated gentlemen! Always a pleasure to see you videos! Keep up the great work , things will get better soon 👍🇨🇦
333g has a filter kit for the return hydraulic oil from the couplers to keep system Clean -> Ag Deere tech love seeing Deere machines at work!
I used to ride with my dad In an old ford like your dump truck the one my dad drove had a hot asphalt tanker on it for roofing and my favorite truck to ride with him in was a mack midliner cab over that had a sissor lift bed on it.
Brother I pray that you prosper through all the crazy going on in the world as I pray for everyone in the same manner. Love your videos and you have a awesome family.
Just take the blocks out to lower. Take your bottom leaf out on the front spring and install the air bags for the front. 4 state trucks have a good kit for it! Wish I was there to help!! I did a lower job on my brother's truck. And rebuilt alot of cat engines!!
If you keep the excavator it would let you be more diversified, a larger skidsteer like your talking about will do almost as much as the track loader. Parts for the track loader are getting harder to find I would think, IH hasn't made equipment since 1984.
You and your boy makes me so happy reminding me of my dad and I back in 77.
I really enjoyed watching this video and watching tim load the dump truck with dirt!!! Awesome!!!💪👌👏💯
I don’t know a thing about them rigs but sure like your channel. I do know I like the sound of them especially straight piped.
Brax is a beast. He handles those tools like it's nothing. kudos to him for his skills and you for teaching them to him, Tim 👍
I'm also listening to the 9000 in my car and it's shaking the mirrors and trim. Sounds awesome
Sounds great man hope only the best for you and your fam stay safe brother
That reminds me of the first big truck I drove. It was a late 60's to early 70's double stick Mack which was just a 5 speed with a high and low. Drove it all over 305 in Athens TN when I was 19 fueling heavy equipment for Wright Bros.
Man the ol dump sounds mean with a straight pipe!
If you remove the blocks in front remove the ones in the back it will handle a lot better on another item I think Braxton needs a raise he works hard dad he needs a raise !!! if you go air will ride a lot better easier on you and equipment and can adjust the height you want love the way you make that L 9000 talk
On the lowering the Pete. It already has low air leaf in back. There's only 1 block in back leaving the z spring l I feel it be better leave alone to pull RGN, & if lowered just bring deck of trailer closer to ground. On to strait piped cummins, they are loud & when you do the W900 with that N14 it will be worse than the dump truck. If done a lot of clearings on rite of ways for pipelines and a track hoe was needed. If anything, you could rent the track hoe when not needed. To bad didnt have another guy there on site. You could be screening top soil & have some.gravel for your pad. Also keep busting butt while your running dump. When dumping, raise that all up and ease forward & when gate clears pile hit brakes and slam gate & should all come.out! Just trying to help & your definitely making it happen!
I sure would love to drive this equipment, I'd be like a little kid. Dream come true for me to drive a 379. I hope y'all are doing well. The dump sounds way better with the straight pipe!
YOU ARE AN AWESOME DAD!!!Thank you for bringing us along for the ride!!!
Great video Tim and Braxton. The dump truck sounds great. Looking forward to your next video stay safe.
Look up 2 u guys alot much respect love ur videos doing a great job raising that boy right way!! Keep trucking
Tim I tell you what you trade in the one that you think will help you make a fish pond whatever type of work you need done I see you are a hard-working man I'll be glad to see the 379 up and running so you have to put a new engine in there do so but you make sure that you can drive from Tennessee to California with no problem and back as usual is always good to see you and your son working hard together I hate that you couldn't get to go to the Convoy but we can you can always support them from home man just keep doing what you do I had an uncle always said you take a Ford it take a licking and keep on ticking
man that boy gets some dirty. and at that age the more dirt the better the day. them kids are living the dream
Tim I grew up hearing my father say " Nobody is going to run your business as good as you are! It didn't take me long to understand that he is right. Good video brother thanks.
Tim I support you 100 % buddy I really appreciate your hard work and dedication thanks for sharing buddy
Love how you are cutting through them gears . Sounds so good
I understand and the truckers also understand your spirit is there thats all that count God Bless you and your family
A skid steer is a Jack of all trades, it can do several different things. Hard to beat a good skid steer. Take care, be safe, and have fun regardless.
Old L9000 Ford Sounds Good. The first road tractor I ever drove was a L9000 back in the early 90s driving a Beer Truck for Miller in Marietta Georgia. Better Brands Distributing
U been saying for awhile now y'all are gonna get that man's freightliner rebuilt Whats the hold up lol can't wait to see it done he deserves it with him getting delt a bad hand and all
Parts, that’s the hold up
He's been doing updates on it. Waiting on parts and time to do it. He put him in another truck for now
If y’all been paying attention to trucker Shawn’s channel he owns another truck and has been hauling Amazon for a while now he is hauling boats for Tim😎
Parts and you can't expect someone fixing your truck for free to drop everything to fix your truck for free especially as busy as Tim is.
@@bernlew977 YOU KNOW!!!!! THE WORLD IS ON OVERNITE DELIVERY!!!! IF YOU WANT TO PAY!!!!!!! SIMPLE...
DAMN , 18min point in the video i love that sound ,, i've never heard a set of jakes sound like that ,, absolutely love it , pop pop pop-pop-pop best sound ever
i love the old classic L9000 Ford too , not many around anymore ,,here where i live one of the neighboring farms has an L9000 grain truck with a 8V-71 detroit and i always love hearing him come up the hill by my house frigging thing screams ,,that hill is a 14 percent grade and he had to stop at the bottom to start up the hill
Man-you need to get that L9000 in top notch shape--that truck in good running condirion (something you don't have to work on all the time) s a money maked. I drove one for years with a Big Cummins in it....Drove easy/good vision everywhere/ wouldn't work you to death. Fix the little things first.
12 gauge steer axle air ride kit and change the rear to either low-air leaf or Freightliner air trac!!! Easy peezy
Bet you’re neighbors love you 😂😂😂😂😂
Hey mate good day from Australia. I Have been watching your channel for a while now and I would just like to say keep up the good work mate and things will always go your way. Never change and I wish you all the best for your future with CZcams and everything.
Good looking soil, delivery cost would be too great to Australia.
Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻 this world needs more hard working Americans in it like yourself Tim.
Hellow Tim an brax good luck buddy yall take care buddys
Hey Tim !! If you lower the "PETE" & plan on pulling the "RGN"" trailer , you'll be too low for the road clearance under the trailer!! May want to reconsider that 1 or get more comments as to being right or wrong on this 1 !! If you pull a "SKATEBOARD or BOX ,,then the landing gear will be that much closer to the ground too !!
If you lower it ( I wouldn’t. I have 3 379’s and with the roads these days they are low enough). But if you insist them it’s a must to raise the 5th wheel plate. This is for Tim not KB
@@kentstryker7208 You are right on with your comment !! Tim needs to reconsider his intent if he isn't making this a ""SHOW "" truck for ""SEMA "" in CA.!!

Man that sounds great like old times
Well yall have become one of my favorite channels now. Every since I seen ya on cleetus channel... I'm looking for work my mom passed away and she's all I had... I can relocate for the right pay.... God bless
Dude, I'm familiar with that area you live in. My dad was born and raised in Vonore county. He lived in Ball Play. Good to see neighbors. That is fine topsoil you have there. Used to seeing orange clay in that area.
Looks good around there and you have a great helper!!
Great video, thanks ,this is the BEST channel of it's type on CZcams.
looking forward to see you at MATS
I knew you would chicken out of the convoy!!!!!!😜
That old ferd sounds sweet!!!
Air ride on the front would be sick! Also do the front bumper lower and raise deal like the purple car hauler on cleets channel.
Neighbors have got a love you.
That's awesome seeing Braxton instead passenger seat of the ford just smiling ear to ear.
When you get your shop done if you need a very nice tool box or a snap on welder ac charger and very nice industrial diesel washer let me know it’s in storage closed shop down my brother passed away love your videos god bless you and your family
333G are good skid steers we don’t have a lot come in mainly just service if your gonna use for cutting trees and stuff make sure that it has a debris kit on it
Good to see the boy working 👍🏻
I haven’t been on your channel that long let me say this to you, you and your son is by far the best father and son duo that I have ever seen. It’s great to see your son right there beside you helping you just can’t see that in other fathers and sons. I have a son he’s lazy as crap I tried to teach him how to drive an 18 wheeler yes I am a truck driver been doing it for about 23 year’s but anyway keep up the work with your family your awesome.
I agree with that remark, But I wish he was a bit more responsible when it comes to respecting others with his way over use of the jake brake and racking his pipes. i have owned many trucks and hired many driver's and i would not allow people who didn't respect other people in my trucks.
@@BitterDemo He is a child himself. Tim has the mind of an eight year old
i just straight piped my 05 kw t800 with the c13 acert and it sounds so much better, now im looking at getting a set of jakes put on next winter
Thanks for the awesome video thanks Tim and Brax you guys are great thanks again
Cab over ranch looks like it's coming along nice. Keep doing what you do Tim.
Sounds good looking forward to seeing the Pete at Mats
hello george from crete greece keep up the good work ,,,,,things will get better ,,,,tuff times know everywere,,,,the last 5 to 6 years if not 12,,have been tuff ,,in my country,,,,,god bless youy and your famaly ,,ps stay safe,,,
That dump truck sounds awesome especially with the jake brake oooft 👌🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Love that engine and jake break sound
Like those straight pipes,sounds awesome!
At Braxton's age he knows a lot about working on
You can make a real good living right there w/ that mulchy yard and the equipement you have.
Two qusetions please-
1. Don't you have to tarp/cover your load on the public roads? You just haven't had to but a windshield yet...
2. Try to find a set of front hubs and /pilot wheels for the L9000-make that thing steer and ride so much better than those old Webb/dayton style spoke wheels that nobody can ever line up straight?
Tks-
Me and my dad had a ford L9000 dump truck with a Cummins in it and that truck was a beast we always hauled 26 tons of asphalt with it and it would still run over 100mph easily and you didn't have to touch the pedal to take off just dump the clutch and it would go even on a steep hill
I can come show you it’s highly possible to work circles around a skid steer clearing and loading trucks with the trackhoe you’ve got
Much love and respect to yall
2018 567 with that double air ride set up, best riding truck we have it floats
Mate, You definitely need a 3 axle semi trailer for that tipper (B-Double?). It would increase your load capacity and also be available for you to haul equipment along, say a skid steer, which would obviate not having to use multiple vehicles or trek back and forth to your work site to deliver all the equipment needed for that job. Simple and easy.😁
i grew up going to Chattanooga Lookouts games and going to look at the trains
I would highly recommend a TL12. Solid machines
Don’t get a aluminum front crossmember they break, pete makes a steel one . Also I would replace both front and rear engine rubber mounts. Another tip when you re-seal the front structure don’t use silicone on any gaskets.Use the permatex anerobic red sealant. It doesn’t set up until surfaces are clamped together and no air can get at it.It works awesome
I love the way Rooster sits. It dwarfs other 379 I've seen it next to
you should bring one of your walking floors down to put dirt in just make sure you have something in the front of the trailer like a scrap tarp or something to push out all the dirt you could move more dirt that way.
I’d definitely recommend changing that harmonic balancer, I did when I redone my 3406E smoothed the engine right out also be careful changing your ride height you can throw off your driveline pitch and cause a vibration.
CAUTION THIS GUY IS A SCAM ARTIST. HE ALMOST GOT ME ON HEAVY D'S SITE. CAUTION WARNING WILL ROBINSON WARNING.
Deep well sockets like that also help significantly increase torque to the bolt with flex and inertia
that is a glorious sound from that L-9000, looks like an 88 or atleast late 80s.
Having lived through an oil& gas ‘explosion’ of growth & bust a couple of times, I found the straight pipes & jakes barking to be highly repulsive… please put a half-muffler on it
