- Welcome back for another vlog this week, and it was a busy one. It felt like we were all over during these two days I was recording content. We unexpectedly ended up at one of the best restaurants in Johannesburg, our bus was flooded during our tour, and we found more scenic views 🎉

Yes it’s intentional. Media use to only show Africans as criminals or starving. Then they would show African Americans or Jamaicans as criminals. It’s just propaganda , so that people with brown skin, would be looked at as bad.

Also, the owner of Marble has another restaurant in Sandton called Saint. It’s also aesthetically pleasing and is fine dining.
St Johns College is the name of the school, they were our biggest rivals in sports when I was in school. Munro drive is so beautiful, used to take that route to school everyday but I was too young to appreciate the beauty.

That art gallery you visited used to host a night art festival every 1st Thursday of the month. They would shut down the street and have food trucks and live music. I believe there’s another gallery across the street from that one. Not sure if it still happens.

We pretty much did the same thing as you guys when we were there…hit up the gallery then pop over to Marble. It was a vibe, definitely 11/10!

Hey Tay I was watching the Real South Africa and this family loved our food but hated the food in the US and I would like to know is the food in the US that over processed though ? Thank you
I would say definitely very over processed. You can find organic food or food not processed but it comes at a high price and isn’t always available for most citizens. Typically the grocery stores that have a good variety of healthy and unprocessed options are in affluent areas whereas many minorities live in area that have become good deserts or food swamps.
Hello Taylor, you mentioned at some point you and your husband was planning on applying for a permanent residence permit. Have you applied and may I ask if the process difficult a probable long waiting process?
We haven’t yet, but I believe we will next week. Their site to make the appointment is defective and crashes constantly. But I believe it says it can take up to 3 years but we are hopeful

No I didn’t, but so far I’m not missing out snacks. There’s way too many crazy preservatives in chemicals in them so I stopped eating a lot of American snacks a year ago

@@TayllorChanise Friday and Saturday but Sundays are the best days for markets. Also 5minutes from there there's also Riversands market which you can checkout on the same day, usually wash the car there also. These are slightly smaller markets than fourways but very nice as well.

So in America they would have 4 individual pieces of butter in a package. Imagine the block of butter being divided into 4 equal sections and individually wrapped in a single box
