Thanks for the support. Stay tuned. Many more videos to come. This is just the begining.
@19:40 HINT HINT - There's a business opportunity here for someone to be a supplier of beauty spas in Salone - locally produce the items these businesses need to run their spas and you'll have a successful business pretty quickly as you'll be able to offer them better pricing than the imported goods.
Very good point. Suppliers and country representatives for different big brands are really needed in Sierra Leone. Liquor brands are doing it but not so much in the beauty space.
Hi! Do you mind showcasing including footage of the establishments when you interview the owners? Would have loved to see a tour of the spa space. Thanks!
I am glad you asked. I will be sharing my tour of the space in my next upload this weekend. Stay tuned...
UPDATE: The Tour will go live today (Sunday April 9th at 5pm GMT) - czcams.com/video/TcakWW5Vvjk/video.html
This is lovely joe
Thank you. Looking forward to finishing yours and posting it soon.
Now I know where to go when I come to Sierra Leone to go massage ! Very important to know
Happy to hear that my videos helped you make that decision.
Though I wish a Sierra Leonean did it, I'm all for foreign direct investment no matter the size
They are doing great work and have really shown the type of quality we should expect in Salone.
Don't forget that there are members of the "non Sierra Leonean" community who were born and raised in Sierra Leone and just love this country so much that they don't see a difference between themselves and Sierra Leoneans. Many, like myself, consider themselves Sierra Leonean.
Well put.
Just need to make sure Seirra Leone doesn’t become like Tunisia
As long as our people do good business and stay consistent, then we will all thrive together.
I agree with the other commentor. Why do actual Black Sierra Leoneans not open these types of businesses!?
Great question. One of the issues is keeping with quality and staying consistent. I did a whole video on why most businesses fail in Sierra Leone here - czcams.com/users/liveqn97wHiylck
The folks at NaLi Spa have kept top quality and have had sound business mentors and support along the way. They have also catered to both SL and international clientele so they have a consistent stream of clients.
@@AuthenticAfrican Thank you for your response. Would love if you could do another deep-dive video on Black Sierra Leoneans and entrepreneurship challenges and solutions to them.
He’s tried to but a lot of them think they’re too important and don’t show up he’s literally done a whole video on it. It’s sad tbh
That video I shared does a deep dive and will surely answer your questions.
Yes, you are right. There were some that showed up for interviews and I will be sharing them in the coming weeks.
We want you to showcase business own by Sierra Leone person. This people have no good intent
I will be showcasing all manor of business owners in Sierra Leone. These folks are great people and have good intent. I am all for making recommendations but please do not say negative things about the entrepreneurs I interview.
