- Why would an Educator leave Los Angeles and move to Sierra Leone? I speak to Yeniva Sisay, about why she started working with OneGirl, what she teaches, and what it is like living and working in Sierra Leone as the Rich Aunty or (Rich Auntie).
Yeniva describes herself as an Education Development Leader. She is also a TEDXSpeaker, Head of Madengn, CEO of Let's Paint SL, and the Manager of @melloseven7.

Strong woman
I really love this video
You are doing a wonderful job bro
Thank you! Yeniva is an awesome individual. I have gotten to know her more since this video. Part two is definitely coming soon...
Me too, I planned on building my house in Sierra Leone and retiring there
Thats what we like to hear. Get started as soon as possible. The prices are going up every day.
I love this man. I am hoping and praying that one day I will be able to retire and relocate back to Sierra Leone. Working on it. ❤❤❤❤
Great! Glad you liked it. Stay tuned. Plenty more coming for you to follow.
Amazing Woman 🙌🏾 please next decrease the volume of the music a bit. Love the video, keep on the good work. Mama Salone 🇸🇱to the world 🌎
Thank you, I will. I will also let her know what you said. Part two coming soon...
Thank you kindly
Great video. Do more of these to entice some of us who are on the fence about living in Salone. I wonder what & how Yeniva feel about healthcare system in salone?
Cut back on the music for these types of videos.
Thank you
Great suggestion! Will do. I will ask Yeniva for her thoughts on healthcare. I myself have been seeing a primary care physician in Ghana and I plant to go to my other one in the states. That is the one thing that I still go elsewhere for.
Hello there healthcare is disheartening. I think this is one of the biggest drawback honestly. I’ve been able to assemble a team of my favorites and people I can consult with. And in the end I have access to the US. But it’s a big challenge to be honest
I would love to be featured on your channel. I just moved to Sierra Leone I opened a makeup/lash studio/ school to help empower the women and create jobs for women. Thanks for giving us a platform to share our story. Much love.
That is awesome! email me at AuthenticAfricanLife@gmail.com. I will work with you to find time to interview you next time I am in Salone.
Was it a hard process to open a school there?
Hello Joe I really enjoyed the video man your auntie and all what was going on there with the food to show everything it was all good man have always thought about his name Sierra Leone I love the wrestling name thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
The interview is great for female empowerment yet background music should be either reduced low or cut off for the interview.
Thanks. You are right about the background music. Will do that next time.
I love your channel
Thank you! Glad you like it. Stay tuned. More coming soon...
I'm on my way
Great! We welcome you back!
👍🏿👍🏿
Thank you!
I love my country Sierra Leone
Yes me Too!
A big hello from miami fl usa i am. Ablack cuban american liveing. In miami like to know are there any black cubans in sierre. Leone if so what part of the country is cheap to live thanktou
Welcome. I have not encountered anyone of Cuban decent in Sierra Leone but there is a small group that resides there. Sierra Leone and Cuba have a long standing relationship since the 1970s. The Ganga-Longoba are a small ethnic group of Afro-Cubans who primarily reside in Perico, ... Upper Banta Chiefdom, Moyamba District in Southern Province, Sierra Leone. The BBC wrote an article about it a while back - www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-25876023
