Really miss talking cars. You guys were far ahead than any other Malayalam automobile review channel could ever think of. You were the only reviewers that gave some knowledge rather than some paid promotions and by hearted spec list given by others. Hoping to see 'hey everybody, welcome to talking cars' again.
Other CZcamsrs are trying to make showroom people happy, few channels like Talking cars and Fasal Khan always give best and honest review

@@NMJ01 For my usage power and torque output of jazz is more than enough,if you're a spirited enthusiast then you may feel it's little bit underpowered!!! In the beginning years I got around 18kmpl in highways, 14 kmpl in city.. nowadays it's around 16kmpl and 13kmpl respectively..

Ex: reason for placing engine low inside the bonnet.
Ex: split beading on back doors.
Ex: placement of fuel tank in jazz, city etc..
Probably no other reviews point out such things.

definitely consider this one for buying. This vehicle is really refreshing for people like me who are not interested in sophisticated features..who wants good engineered and reliable vehicles.
Unlike Maruti, Hyundai and many others Honda IVTEC always delivers more mileage than ARAI figures. I used to get 20-21 kmpl on my Amaze Petrol 2019 model with company claiming only 19 kmpl. Honda IVTEC is the best petrol engine👍

That engine is technically very good. But I think it came way too late for Honda in India. And you're right - this car is a generation too late.
A crisp and honest review. Even if 1000 review for ELEVATE exists in CZcams, Vivek ji's style will stay unique like the greens in Rajasthan. We expect more interesting videos like that of KS motorsports and camping in KIA and many more bits that was shown in debut video.
Watched many reviews on the elevate and felt almost all of it as a marketing campaign of Honda, however this one stands out on the content and the honesty you put into the content. Well done and thanks Vivek 👍🏼 . Waiting for more!

The best part is the interior it looks like a Lexus or a BMW car interior due to the lexury brown colour and the rear looks more good and front looks like Honda pilot SUV which is above 70 laks indian money and is not offered in india and this car comes from the same 5 gen Honda City platform which got 5 star safety in Asian ncap and it also gets ADAS which is actually good and good mileage, Honda is ranked as the world's most reliable car brand according to Carwow UK
Considering how familiar the engine and chasis remains to us, there were basically two things to be curious about-
1. Ride and handling - which we have some idea now based on your insights.
2. Pricing - this will be the next important factor I look forward to

Hey Vivekji..was literally waiting to see your take on the Elevate..there are a hell lot of auto reviewers on youtube these days..if we sit and watch all those reviews, the one thing I can tell you is 9 out of 10 reviewers do a similar comparison wherein they come up with points which a normal buyer would really be happy with..and that is definitely good..but the details that you come up with especially on the technical sides speaking about the placing of the engine and fuel tank and why Honda did that, chassis derivatives, manifold, camshaft and so on..all these things do make your video a lot more interesting to be honest..😊 Keep up the good work brother..

Honda should localise their hybrid powertrain..Even Maruti is providing that alongside AWD option on Grand vitara..I hope this car will be a success as I dont want a legendary brand like Honda to leave from India..

I think you are comparing cars in Middle East with cars in India. Indian companies make cars. Middle East just import cars. Tata cars have identity Mahindra has identity. Many people like them. Europeans say why Americans use big fat gas guzzling cars with very less efficiency? I think it’s same with Middle East. Gas price!

Superb review.. this is how a car review should be. Very specific. 👌
Honda should really have given a hybrid option! Especially since they have the tech. I get that they're ditching diesels, but then give some alternatives. Especially with that block like shape and the NA engine, would have been better to give a hybrid powertrain for punchier drives + good FE.
With a proper hybrid or even turbo, I think many people may even opt for this over Creta. This feels a bit lukewarm, although still one of the better cars from Honda offlate. Hope they price it well!

Elevate is a good upgrade for Jazz, Amaze and WRV customers. Honda should bring turbo petrol engine to make it a more exciting CSUV.

Spot on ! This SUV should’ve come 5 years back. Driving an NA petrol vehicle is definitely a bad choice I would rather go for Kia facelift. Nice review🎉
Lack of hybrid is surprising, since Honda already provides it in the City. It would've given the Elevate a leg up over the Korean pair. Given that Honda doesn't have a credible EV yet globally, it is hard to believe Honda will launch an EV for the mass market in India in 2-3 years. Hopefully, Honda will rethink their hybrid strategy for the Elevate before it's too late.

I wouldn't consider elevate as my next upgrade from fourth gen honda city i-dtec, i would look forward to have something with a little more punch. 145 nm of torque seems inadequate, at this point Skoda slavia or VW virtus gt seems perfect for the price and features. Although a turbo petrol on elevate could turn things around.
The way you mentioned the radiator heating issue affecting the battery. That is something others don't go into details.
Everyone talks about spec list, what's there and not there.

The length of the video was just apt. Its the main reason that I clicked on the video. Less than 10mins will be a bit too short for a review and anything above 20mins is a drag.
As usual nice video and your technical knowledge is top tier.
Its been a long time since Honda made some excitement felt for car enthusiasts and Elevate also seems plain and just ordinary.
Recently I test drove the new Honda City manual and the car was really good but the close to 20lkh vehicle felt very soft and laid back, the power delivery was very linear to feel any sportiness.
I still remember my college days when Honda civic generated much awe and excitement with its superb styling, engine, gearbox and features. There was also Accord V6 with cylinder deactivation tech.
Sad to see Honda failing to understand the Indian market.

Looks like Grand Vitara and Seltos had a child. Front chunkiness does not look good. Does this boxiness result in too much wind noise? Is the car well insulated from road noise - those half beadings seems skimpy. Interiors seem just about ok. My view about looks Seltos>Creta>Grand Vitara>Elevate.
If Honda prices it below G Vitara, they have a winner on their hands else it will end up like most Honda models in India.

This is actually new honda design pattern..We can see this in 2023 CR-V and Pilot.
And Jazz (Fit) and City hatchback is entirely different.
