The gun is the IS-7 gun. The aphe is the exact round and penetrations values as the IS-7
when i saw this vehicle i expected it to shoot a stronger HE shell , 3kg is not alot for a 130MM
shorter 125mm on chinese and russian tanks have almost double explosive mass smh
and chinese 152mm version of this tank has only like 0.3kg more mass than the 125's and french arty also has super low compared to other countries
idk of its IRL like this or just gajin it doesnt make sense to me

Because it is an HE designed in 1940s, back then it was more difficult to develop HE shells with thinner walls to increase the explosive mass without compromising the shell integrity when fired, especially when fired at 900 m/s, by comparison the Maus 128mm HE has 3,7 kg of TNT but it is fired at 750 m/s to reduce the stress on the shell

was not the T-72 made to withstand 105 mm APFSDS lol
Yeah idk why he's so surprised when this thing won't be facing them anyway since even the early T-72s are 9.3 while this thing sits at 7.3.

When t-72 was implemented 300 mm kinetic was enough to pen it. And still is in some spots he was clearly aiming at, but I guess making a film with live comment isn't the best match while doing the pixelhunt.
Why you dudes forcing the act of being suprised about old War Thunder players having their own "shouldnt that pen ?" moments. Its not like he lobbed that shell into a center of the cheek and was talking crap or anything.
Not even mentioning how irl the 120mm M-103 AP shell and other similar high power, late solid shots were still able to pen/partial pen early T-72 as thier textolite filling did very little to damage the shell core and normalised it instead of pushing out from the angle of attack and their composite back plate was too thin. The end result in most simulations was a massive chunk of the T-72 composite back plate being sprayed into the crew as schraphnel or straight up solid pieces. Big enough to get to and kill the driver and turret crev. That problem was solved only later with adding a additional steel plate between the textolite blocks and reinforcing the back plate.
@mateuszk3812 The T-72 was added six years ago. A CC should have basic and updated game knowledge or the viewers will get misinformed. He made the cannon and shell look bad by being surprised at not being able to penetrate the T-72.
You should not be surprised that it didnt pen a T-72 that well. Its a T-72 and that round only has a little bit more than 300mm of pen

Here is the story of me trying to get that thing:
I spend a few weeks completing every stage with ease. When it came to the last one, the 7th of may I looked on the time on my pc, but instead of looking at the day, I looked at the month. I read it was the 5th of july. I was honestly happy, cause I had some work to do up to wednesday and starting the final grind thursday sounded quite good. The thing is, the next day was the end of the last stage and since I misread the date and I dont usually check the current date, I missed the last stage and my chance to get this. But that isnt even the worst part. The evening of the 7th, I was playing with some people just for fun, but at around 21 o'clock I decided to hop off, since I still had to study a bit for a test that would happen the next day. The wager was still active then and I was unknowingly doing it - I had 1000 point missing to its completion, If I had decided to stay for one more game, I would have completed it. And the next day the test was canceled anyway. in conclusion, I wasted hours of grind for this tank because of a test that didnt happen anyway.
I got 2 kills back to back against the abrams up on the hill in the back through the roof from the ammo circle, had trouble replicating it though

It's huge, it's slow and early Panthers are saying hello to that turret rotation speed, this thing must oneshot everything to be just playable
tbh this tank is 7.3 and a T-72 can pretty withstand most tanks at its own br. so not a good comparrison. maybe HE on a T72 ?

Why are you yapping about it not penning the 9.3 t72 which has great armor even for its br. This thing is 7.3. It is not a bad sign that it cant pen it lol. If it couldnt pen the t54 then it would be mind of a bad sign. I dont expect my 7.3 tanks to pen 9.3 tanks.
Cause most shh can pen the t72 at weakspots
From the tests I did, I found that this would have great difficulty penetrating heavy tanks, and in uptiers, it's kind of dead.
The main shell of the t10m at 8.3 is a APHE with 290mm pen, i dont know how this would have difficulty with 313mm at 7.3
7.3br in Chinese tech tree…there’s nearly no compatible tanks to add the the lineup as well
@@Consumpter T10M gets a stab, apds and heat your only option isnt limited to APHE and at those br brackets theres tons of light vehicles unlike 6.3-8.3

Honestly. I do not care. I am not that good of a player to get 35k points every 2 days. Because I have a full time job. And the only times I can get a lot of hours in WT is twice a week. I seriously thing they need to reduce the points you need to earn by 10K
Vehicle itself is trash, sits at nasty battle rating ( 7.0-8.0 ), it is Chinese, and unlike Object 292 I don't see any reason why you would buy this thing (gaijin market). Pretty much you wont be missing on anything.

the 600k points you need to get the sellable coupon might make it even rearer than others, but still, this is just another meh event vehicle. might start at 20-30 dollars and take like a year to rise up to 50-60

@@keaganreis794 dude I hate that so much. Naval and coastal battles can be an amusing diversion every once in a while but I don't think many people main it. At least nowhere near the extent their do air or tanks. But for how little I play it, they sure do give out a ton of boats as prizes. I guess some designer felt bad they worked so hard modelling the ships that no one cares about and insisted they be given as prizes to perhaps make people play more naval.
